re the peacocks - could the cage be temporary until they settle?
There is a (very exclusive) suburb of Valliland which has the most sumptuous houses and they are built in what was the estate of the hall - the hall itself is still there and they, I believe, have peacocks which wander the whole area...(well there are peacocks - I'm guessing as to whom they belong)
I dare say people put up with the screeching cos they are a symbol of poshness :rotfl:

    Afternoon all,

SS That was the colour scheme in our old lounge in our flat. It was very calming, and nice and cosy in the winter.
Soappie thanks for the update on toots, and please may I have my last star as I finished my list for Friday yesterday but OH was hogging the PC so I couldn't update you?
Thank you to whoever sent the balloons on behalf of us all.

Went to body combat this morning, but got up too late to have breakfast, so was absolutely shattered about half-way through the class. Then went into town to collect something for OH and also to get a new watch strap (couldn't get the latter so will have to look online). Have come home and finished off the banoffee pie for lunch as it had fresh cream on and I was worried it would go off. Didn't eat anything else as I suspect it was worth my entire calorie intake for the day! Will probably go for a bit of a walk later on to try and burn some of it off before going to dinner at my M&D's tonight.

Must go and water all of the fruit and veg as I expect they are as thirsty as I am in this heat.

    Catch up in a bit,

    sexymouse xx

PS Rach, my friend who just had her baby has PCOS too, so fingers crossed for you. It did take her a while to conceive, but she did naturally, and now she had a beautiful little girl (Faith - baby number 9).
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

I just had to share this one with you... I left DD upstairs vacuuming her bedroom with Henry, now I've been using it to dust as its much better than using even a damp duster so she knows if she puts the little brush bit on she can dust. I caught her with the little brush on Henry vacuuming......her legs :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I sometimes wonder... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Afternoon all. I haven't deserted but been busy running (driving) hither and tither last couple of days. Did a car boot this morning and made about £55 profit....... but bought a couple of things while i was there....so didn't come home with all that. But did clear loads of tat so all good....now have to deal with the aftermath of unpacking etc etc. DS is back and very tired bless him after our 5am start, so might have a slow day today but haven't deserted the cause!

    Crawls in...

Caught up on some flying today :D after a totally depressing week at work which made me realise quite a few things about the organisation I work for. Meaning many evenings this week I got in in a low and tired frame of mind with flying on my mind but far from achieving it

Very pleased with what I have done with only the bathroom left either for later today or tomorrow. House looks much nicer it does my head in when it looks a state and needs hoovering

Haven't read the thread this week so don't know what has happened.

Smiles to those who want one, a hug for those who want one and a tissue if you need one. Happy sunny saturday my lovely flyladies :D

By the way I am about to runout of my trusty Lakeland Nilglass which I love but a nearly a fiver a go it is a bit too pricey even tho it lasts for ages. Can anyone suggest a low cost or OS alternative for glass and mirrors no streaking?

    Many thanks!
