thats one ugly car!!!! sorry jeannie

father in law has just bought a brand new audi a5 with all the extras for 27k i know which one i would prefer lol
    Don't apologise! Why should you??

I wouldn't buy an Audi or a Merc to be honest. Merc's haven't been well built for ages and Audi's have their problems and personally I would avoid them.

I wasn't that impressed with the RS until I saw it in real life and I love it. And I work in a garage that gets everything coming in. Porsche, Audi, Lexus, Bentley (they have too much old man's wood in them :D). It is all a question of personal taste!!

The RS brought the teenager out in me! I work surrounded by blasted cars all day and don't give a 'fig' what I drive. But the RS - well - it is a bit special. Brings back memories of the RS's of years gone by!! I think Ford's have done a really good job this time - rally cars - bring it on!

Goldie - you'll appreciate this as you know my son's history re cars......
(ie had ST white, twice, and now RS white)

He went back to work today. Parked in the car park (in new car), later on in the day, guy from workplace next door asks my son where he got the new grille from for his car, as he really liked it. He asked him how much it cost. Son said it cost about 29k. Guy said, no really, how much was the grille? Its really nice and I would like one. Son said, about 29k. After a fair bit of good humoured banter, eventually, guy realised it was a different car............ :D Nice one, he said!!

I think the '09 might've given it away, not to mention the badges!!

yeah, its the racing suspension that makes it hard, so much so i was nearly car sick when the Ford guy was taking round

But for the cash a very good motor and i'm hoping the Ford press office will give me one for a 3 month loan ;)

Gotta be worth a try - but somehow doubt it - as they are so rare at present!

Son is a bit fed up with all the staring! He's not a show off type person at all so not liking the looks. Nor is he liking the tw*ts up his backside all the time trying to egg him on! Nor is he liking people photographing it!! Its all a bit silly really!!! :D

But he is loving it and loving driving it too! Which is just as well :rotfl:

    Been out in it today...........

I now understand the staring bit! It is a bit embarrassing - but boy does the car go! Goldie you would love it!! :D

Son has 'caught' a few lads taking pictures of it whilst parked at work - he says he is going to start charging! Fortunately, where we live, is tucked away, so no passing traffic or young lads!

Son saw a blue one today whilst he was out - I've yet to see another one.

I want one now........ shame that I don't have the dosh!
