    they have no holes to let the hot air out. If you lift the bonnet, the airvents have nothing...its just a normal bonnet with bits of plastic glued on.

    I think you would really really have to drive this first before you pass comment!

    It shifts.............. :eek::eek::eek::eek:

    I'm dreading to find out by how much more when it is run in..........

    The book times for both the BMW and the Porsche put them a whole second ahead of the RS 0-60. Whilst it is quick for a focus, it is not really that quick, not quite the same special fun that the old RS500 or Escort Cosworth used to be. This may be a sign of the times, in that others have caught up so much, but ultimately it is a fast version of what my mum might take to the shops. Whilst I would not buy one, I am sure many would, I suppose it really comes down to what you think looks good and drives well.

    Hope he enjoys his new car, I know I am enjoying mine (not quite as quick but fun none the less and RWD :) )

    Have another look - think you will find that the air vents are not fake and that there are 'flaps' on the vents. These vents were part of the problem of the RS being delayed - but it is sorted now. Well maybe not on the one you've got.... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Nice 'article' by the way. :D

    I am talking about the vents on the bonnet. The ones which should let hot air out of the engine, but don't because they have no mounting holes. Ford have admitted they do nothing. Go out and ask your son to open the bonnet and shoiw you...there are NO holes on the bonnet. So why have air vents?

    Hope this helps.
