To be honest I don't think Debenhams (GE Money) will be too worried regarding your spending yesterday.
Whether you pay in full or even a large part of it off they will be only too happy that you are using the credit extended to you. :j

Morning to you too hun

Yes you're right, as long as I spend within my limits

In general, catalogue shopping will always be a little more expensive in terms of actual purchase price..BUT the option to spread payments, especially on larger items is a huge bonus.
Also helps to boost credit rating over time which is the added plus :T

many people on here have a few catalouges from the same group.with sdg i have a few.normaly you can always have an use a discount code or promotion for at least one at any time.im a vip with one of mine which helps with discounts.
brian recieved a massive discount for one of his accounts.so if you shop about on them and use discount codes it can be a lot cheaper.

Yes they do but like others said, the option to buy now and pay in installments without any interest is great!

Iv found that some things are greatly more expensive but with other things there might only be a £10 or £20 difference.

If I have the money then I pay by cash, if i dont have the money, I go with catalogues all the way!

After the Farepak fiasco I think the hamper savings schemes have suffered a bit..
I know it's hard resisting temptation to spend but would rather put some money into a savings account weekly, then come December SPLASH OUT :j

    Morning 66.

Yeah, Farepak was a disgrace but i just wondered if it's possible to buy something cheap and rack up the green '0's. I can't remember the name of the company but they sent a catalogue at the start of the year to me. They gave huge reassurances that they were part of some financial body and the whole Farepak fiasco couldn't happen with their customers .

Dont think that the hamper catalogues report to CRA'S as it is a savings scheme..not a credit product
