Yes I did thanks I have had a quick look but Clydesdale are only offering a 2 year fix good rate but I really dont want to paying £1000 arrangement fee every couple of years. We have an appointment with the mortgage advisor tomorrow and see what he comes up with.
Thankfully everything went well with the little ones speech theraphy appointment I don't think there is much of a problem they will see her again in a month by which time we should know whether she is leaving us in September and where she might be so that they can continue to follow her progress. 8 days to our planned holiday (which we are no longer going on) and her passport still hasn't arrived should be with us by the beginning of next week but if we were going away I would be extremely cross by now as we still would not have been able to book our flights:eek:
Need to go and sort out the stuff for our mortgage appointment.

This is a copy of a post I have just made on the PAD thread
:A:A:A:A:A:A:A:A:A:A:A:A:A:A:A:A
Its official the MSE family are wonderful. (But I already knew that)
Just to say a very sincere thank you for the totally unexpected donation in memory of my grandaughter Cherry Rose. My daughter was very touched when I tiold her. We are donating money to three different charities the Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths, the Sudden Infant Death Services and the Radical Midwives. We just pray that one day someone will discover why these deaths happen and how to prevent them.
I also want to say how much I have appreciated the words, prayers and support I have received from so many fellow MSErs it has helped me personally through a very difficult time.
I have posted these thanks here as the money came via the lovely Angelic and I do hope that all those that donated will get to read it. It is even more appreciated coming from you as I know you all have very strict budgets. I would just like to say don't forget to enjoy life on your road to debt freedom because I have come to realise over the last few weeks that life can be very fragile and a few more weeks or months in debt really doesn't make a difference but happy memories of loved ones can be all that you have left.
I will copy this post to my diary.
Once again folks thank you so much you cannot possibly know how much it means to me.

Well glad to say the mortgage interview is over not too bad really but not a lot of options because of OHs age and also the way we are paid but hopefully we have found a decent offset mortgage for the next two years would really have liked one to the end of term but just not available. We should know whether we have been accepted by Monday at the latest
Really want the offset as it will reduce stress and save us money which is a good combinationas it stands now I have to estimate every 6 months how much money we will need for living and then I pay the excess off the credit cards if I get it wrong we end up short before next payday this way I can offset all our pay and then draw down our living expenses each month as I need them leaving more money offset against the mortgage and no stress and access for emergencies. Also I have added the credit cards to the mortgage so I can leave this money offset until the 0% deal ends on each card and then pay them off one by one ensuring that I get full use of the 0% period that I have already paid the fee for and I don't have the stress of looking for new 0% deals. I will have to pay an extra £350 a month on top of my mortgage payment and current credit card payments but I was never going to match my current rate and the credit cards are on a repayment basis so they will be reducing anyway and I wil be offsetting as much as possible so that part of the mortgage will be soon gone. Also I have been overpaying on average almost 20K a year so £350 a month is easily manageable and allows some flexibility for when interest rates rise but the plan is to offset as much as possible whilst interest rates are low.
Just fingers crossed we get accepted we were well within the income, valuation and age criteria so hopefully all will be well.
At least this post is about money so that's good I know it is really mortgage related but as I am adding my credit card debt to the mortgageI won't regard myself as debt free until the repayment part of the mortgage is fully offset and anyway I like it here :rotfl:
