    Brilliant!

DT, this sounds like a really difficult time for you. I think I was still celebrating your reinvention on the clothes, but the medical condition you're trying to work with sounds chronic and unpleasant to boot.
    :kisses3:

KC surprisingly I feel really happy and hopeful that I am now in the right place to make a huge difference to my health and weight.:)

Mind you I might not feel like that next week I have been informed that the first few weeks can be pretty rough going:eek:

I am really glad that I have had the clothes makeover it has made me feel so much better and so much more positive I know that MSE wise having a complete new wardrobe at the start of a diet is madness but without it I don't think I would have been able to do this so someone is going to benefit from some nice hardly worn clothes :) as if all goes to plan I shouldn't be this size for long and if anything I bought them on the generous size :o but I really don't care OK it may put my debt free date back a few months but in the scheme of things thats nothing.

So this is one really happy :jreally positive :jreally determined DT :j

Just remind of that next week if I am suffering;)

When I did my big diet, I bought clothes en route, so that I felt good as the sizes went down. To be honest, without it I don't think I'd have stuck to it, as feeling good about the new me as it emerged was part of the package, so I counted the clothes cost as part of the diet cost.

With the items and labels you've bought, they should ebay easily I'd have thought. Otherwise, why not look for someone who does alterations, although it might be cheaper to ebay, but for items you really like it's worth considering.

Anway it's more of an excuse to wear the really nice new clothes all the time, as you're going to shrink out of them :D

Oh, you mentioned 5 meals a day. On my current diet, I try to have 5 smaller meals a day rather than 3 big meals, I think it's supposed to keep the metabolism more even. Anyway it's worked for me when I've tried it.

On olive oil, I have used a refillable spray, you only use a tiny amount of oil for oiling things when you use something like that. You can tell how little you use by how infrequently you have to top it up. You can use them for any oil you like, I normally used it for olive or sunflower.

For salad dressings, sometimes plain squeezed fresh lemon is nice or just a dash of balsamic vinegar.

Aubergine is OH's favourite vege, so looking forward to hearing of new recipes on the thread. :)

    Hope the diet goes well.

Oh I am wearing them every day I have to I threw out everything else:rotfl:the stuff I threw out was rubbish and the very few items that were in smaller sizes were so out of date that I wouldn't have worn them anyway. Ebay is not for me I just can't do it :oI know I will give them away so if anyone knows someone who is size 22 probably up to 24 as some of them are very generous let me know

Thanks for that I intend getting one for olive oil can you buy them in Mr. T's?

Lemon juice is OK but not balsamic so I am going to concoct some sort of wine vinegar, lemon juice, dijon mustard type of dressing

Click on moo2moo's link 3116 aubergine recipes :T

    Hope the diet goes well.

Thank you very much sad but I am looking forward to it :o

Well my last big debt busting post for a while I have paid off £3998.86 :j this month if I had realised I would have rounded up the odd money :(

I have updated my sig which means at the moment I am ahead on my challenges but will now start to fall gradually behind but it is not for ever and in the scheme of things will just look like a small blip when I look back on my debt free journey. It is another credit card gone so that feels good and I shall just gently chip away at the others for now.

DT, its not a blip, its a plan. And your debt free journey is only a part of your life.

Hope you're feeling okay, and have a good sleep.

I got mine years ago from m&S. But if you google "oil spray for cooking" there's lots of places that sell similar ones.

Yep, I slept well, actually - on the lappie now working (and skiving on here, but I *am* watching the time for the trading - everyone seems to have been holding their breath since I got up, just about starting to move now).
