OK the diet formally starts tomorrow. The blood tests are back and are as expected. I have had another weigh in today and since my consultation last Monday I have lost 2lbs :j despite not dieting in fact I have been decluttering the house of all chocolate this week :o in preparation for dieting - the only thing I have done differently is to up my water intake which just goes to show what difference drinking more water does :)

I have now completely cleared two branches of Mr. Ts out of my favourite mineral water :rotfl:My fridge is full of the approved veg and salad and I am raring to go.

On the debt front I have had a result on the electricity front 18 months ago we had a problem with NPower pinching us from our existing suppliers despite our existing suppliers doing the best to keep us and me phoning constantly it took 6 months to sort out with us not paying for any electricity in the meantime as neither of them sent us bills. We eventually got back to our original supplier but had a huge bill due so our DD was set at £170 on getting our bill this time we have final caught up and are in credit as we are now into the summer months I emailed them to ask for the credit back and to reduce the DD the next day I had a phonecall to say they were giving us back the £76 credit and reducing the DD to £92 so I am very happy with that:j

  • Hi DT. I have only just found your diary so read the first page and the last few....you have done wonders with the debt overall, with what I can imagine is a very very busy life....and so I am sure you can do the same with the weight loss. You sound brilliantly well notivated and I wish you the very best - I don't think it matters a jot whether you are logging here weight loss or debt loss, it's all life and people are here to support you......

There has been lots of talk recently on various threads but especially Taxi's about balance in our lives. This was reinforced for me yesterday when I had the terrible news that my brother in law had died completely unexpectedly in the night. This is the first of my generation, except for my best friend who died in his 20s, to die and this brings it home that we just don't know what tomorrow brings.
