Brazil nuts... now thats true. I have some I need to declutter (i.e. eat
) before the move - they're a bit old, too, so deffo not worth moving on. And cashew nuts. One incredibly healthy meal I do now is to have some carbs ready - steamed tatties, cheapo barley from Tatco, that kind of thing, plus some easy frozen veggies - peas, spinach, broccoli, whatever - and some cashew nuts - and I just throw them all in a container and stick them in the microwave for a few minutes, one minute at a time. Chuck a bit of sauce over them - pesto, in my case
maybe pasta sauce - and hey presto - quick, easy, healthy. Ta'da!

You lot are driving me mad (but also making me laugh:T) this is my health diary not a recipe clubbecause of my various medical conditions my diet will be very restrictive which is why it has to be monitored weekly by a doctor so no more tasty recipes unless they include aubergine! as I gather that is going to be my new best friend but before you get carried away only 1tbs of olive oil per day so no liberal dousing in oil please. I also have to have 5 meals a day so it will be a constant food fest in this house anyway I am already dreaming about food instead of money and I haven't even started yet - so if you can talk me into getting on the wii that would be great
once I have a clearer idea of what I can actually eat I will post ingredients and then you are very welcome to produce some recipe ideas:T but I am sorry KC I know nuts are off the menu and avocados macgirl so the recipes might have to be a bit inventive
Don't think I will be starting until later in the week or even next week as I have to have more blood tests done first. I just want to get going now I have made my mind up.

Ok Shaun that is definitely it table cancelledActually I have decluttered some chocolate today just to make sure that there is none left lurking anywhere in the house
Taxi - Rhubarb is on the menu been in to Mr. T's today to see if they have any and I was reliably informed that they have it in stock all year round but at the moment it is English which should be nice and I noticed Aubergines are £1.50 for two

Hiya! Just catching up on the last few days.
I agree that health is more important, and that concentrating on the minimums is necessary at times. I am doing the same, but to protect my mental health rather than my physical health, but the difference it makes not putting the "overpay" stress on myself is quite significant and whilst I have other "stuff" going on, it will have to remain that way for the time being.
But, keep up with your diary, because even if your debt is not reducing as much as it might once have done, the diary will help you in not increasing the debt - you will still need to keep your eye on the finances and where better to do that than here!
Plus there are many of us on one type of weight loss or another right now, and you will find that we can all [STRIKE]bore people[/STRIKE] keep people informed about what we are eating, quite happily
Hope things work well for you xxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Brilliant!
DT, this sounds like a really difficult time for you. I think I was still celebrating your reinvention on the clothes, but the medical condition you're trying to work with sounds chronic and unpleasant to boot.
