They may be people in your email address book or they may be friends of friends on FB I have pmd you with my email address so you can add me and if you look at my friends you should recognise some MSE people and then you can click on them and add them as friend

Happy Payday DT! :T It's probably a blessing in disguise having to wait until after the BH though. At least you'll be sure of an MSE weekend0

Afternoon Folks
Been number crunching it is not pretty
I have spent a lot recently and because I knew payday was arriving I have not been keeping a close eye on it knowing that the CC that I pay off each month would be paid from wages so the amount outstanding is staggering:o. This has to stop.
This obviously has a knock on effect on how much I can pay off my debtsI shall be clearing one credit card :T but my other one I have just obtained a new card to BT it to but I will pay the fee so that the debt does not increase.
Checking the figures the food bill is enormous I know that there are sometimes 11 of us in the house but even so it is ridiculous OH usually does the shopping so I will have to take over and see what I can do to reduce this.;)
Another area I need to look at is broadband and telephone as this appears to be increasing recently not sure why so off to check the main site for advice. Also life insurance for the mortgage needs to be checked too. So basically I am doing a complete all areas check to see where I can trim the budgets. The other area is to increase income I know our basic income is not going to change in the next 12 months (after a one third paycut last year) so I need to look at other areas. I do my scratches but have not done much MS recently as the time it takes and the inconvenience often does not make it worth it bingo seems to have died off recently for me anyway I am still doing a few surveys but none of these are going to make me rich. The one area I have not dipped my toe into is match betting I have read and I think I understand it but will need to brush up I have already opened a betfair account but think I need to provide them with id so I need to get that sorted. So I think this is one area I need to exploit or else a holiday and my trip to Uganda are going to have to come from a very tight budget which I don't think will stretch that far.
OK broadband, telephone, life insurance here I come

Its always good to do an audit from time to time - even if things can't be done any cheaper, at least you know you are getting the best value for money.
Hurrah for payday though!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
So easy for that to happen, DT, it must be. Do you have BT? A friend told me that their free evening calls don't start till 7 now, as opposed to 6 - that kind of thing can really catch you out. And an OH doing the shopping .... well, 'nuff said
I'm glad you can find ways to haul it back in - once you understand it, matched betting is certainly a good way to add a couple of thousand .... and mystery shopping!!!! Well, I took a few single mystery shops to HH for cafes - they paid my fare and gave me a sandwich while I was there, tho no income - but if I want income, its useless to do anything except two together - like on Thursday, election day, I've got two in the centre of town, and that will be about £25 - nice, but there's quite a bit of work goes into it, the hourly pay is still pathetic. Very tough.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
