Hope you manage to get him ok.
Why do they all want fattening food as we go on a diet?

Ermmmm not looking for a recipe but contemplating making it... I have way too many apples, pears and plums looking to be used up (I went mad in MrT on the 2nd Jan as the fruit went to 75% off (or less) as I arrived in the store as it was shutting early)... :o :rotfl:

Anyone know a low fat version? :rotfl:

    Salad.

No, how about a fruit compote? You could have it with some natural yogurt?
(Actually, that sounds very unappealing doesn't it! I'll stick to crumble ;))

I know, it is hard when it's so cold and all that will satisfy is stodge

I've just had a large bowl of HM Leek and Potato soup, with a splash of milk instead of cream and a smidge of olive oil and TBH I feel full.
Luckily I'm out of cooking apples, so the crumble won't happen today at least.
Keep going, we'll get there :)

  • I lovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvve apple crumble - how dare you on my diary are you trying to sabotage me?:D

I had half a pizza and a bowl of veg soup so not good but could have been so much worse - the soup is really good and we have loads.

Foster child's aunt walked him so far so I was able to pick him up OK just hope I can get him back on Sunday as they are threatening more snow although I am not sure if we will get it.

The ice is not really melting at all but at least now OH has put the salt on the bottom of the drive we are able to get the car in.

Other than that I have had a lazy day:o
