Went out to pick the teenagers up from the station last night at midnight and because my car is automatic I could not get it up the drive with the ice I did manage to reverse it off the road on to the bottom of the drive. OH after he took the kids to school this morning couldn't even do that
Good :money: day today I have updated my figures after recent payments and my total debt is now under £260K updated the figures for the pay off 30K by Christmas challenge
Renewed OHs car insurance saved £113 on the renewal premium and a potential cashback of £28 too so pleased with that :j:j
Moved some money around why does it take less than 2 hours to transfer from HSBC to Halifax but 3 days to transfer Halifax to HSBC
DTxx0 -
That's a good cashback and saving amount.
I agree about the transfers- i think they hold the money in an account so they can get the interest.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -

OH has finished messing about with some salt so hopefully we will be able to get up the drive a bit easier just noticed foster child's school is closed and the school closest to him so hope I will be able to pick him up he does live a bit high up and no easy way to get there definitely back roads:rolleyes:
