Think weight loss is on a lot of our minds ...I need to lose 9 stone so am with you all the way if you want.
I was also thinking the other day about chasing pennies here and there...a few hours extra work would cover that and more so am opting for that..so can really seee where you're coming from.
Perhaps the time you would have spent doing bingo etc could be spent going for a walk/swim etc xx
I would love a weight loss buddy taxi:j
The time thing was exactly what I was thinking it is the one thing that is in limited supply and I need to use it more wisely;)

I was just a few pounds lighter than you when I started, so I know how it feels having a figure of 6 stone to lose! It's daunting, set mini goals. Take regular pics of yourself. I felt like I hadn't lost much weight, as I've only dropped a dress size. But I dug out a pic from a year ago & OMG I *looked* twice the size.
Piccies are one thing I avoid but I will take one and also do some measurements so I have other things to judge success by other than just the scales:T

I'm thinking of having a photo took each month and stash them on my computer and then I can see the progress each month.
I'd love to be your diet buddie and will be joining SW on thursady night...I will walk there and back so that will be a bit of exercise.0 -

It's really heavy here - I've just got back from picking up little DD from nursery. About 5 inches has fallen since about 8am!
Good luck with the weight loss ladies. Don't forget to drink more water, it will send you running to the loo for the first couple of days, but will aid your weight loss massively0 -
Can I be cheeky and join in the weightloss thing too? I have a similar amount to loose as taxi...Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Thank-you! :j
I usually loose weight over Xmas as there is no nipping into the shops on the way home from work when uber hungry as I usually have ~2 weeks off work!... I just have to stay out of the shops now and I'll be ok... I also need to seriously up my amount of exercise. I've decided to go ice skating a bit more often as I used to do this loads as a kid and quite enjoy it... (and the local ice rink is ~5 mins [STRIKE]skate[/STRIKE] walk from my flat :rotfl:) but its quite expensive. Loads more walking would be good but not in this weather...

Can I tag along on the weight loss journey too please? I have at least 6 stone to lose too.
I got on the Wii today for the first time in ages - I was please to find I hadn't put much weight on over christmas. I've lost 12lbs since I first got the Wii fit in September.
My plan is to try to do 2-3 10 minute slots each day on the Wii ( I normally do the free step or running while I watch the telly!) I'm also busy "flying" on the OS thread so hoping the increase activity will help.
My DD wants to do the race for life again this year - we missed it last year - and this time I would like to be able to comfortable walk it! I really struggled 2 years ago
Stressed xxxHoping to stick to the challenge this year!!
