Obviously you are all entitled to your own opinion, so if you think it is a load of b/c, I am not stopping you from thinking that. I am just presenting to you what I have heard in the hope that it has perhaps made a number of you more alert and aware of these sorts of things that are apparently going on.
Now, for some FAQ's
Why did she leave her bag outside the cubicle? I can only assume it was too large to take in with her or she seized the first possible opportunity to hang the bag(s) up after a long day of shopping
Why are you calling her 'Jude'? For ease of typing. I am not saying this is her name, or it even sounds remotely like her name, I just thought it would save time as opposed to typing 'my Sister's friend' every time. Again, Sorry if this causes any offence
Why are you still believing it even after seeing a certain website? Because a close relation told it to me, and I believe what she says
Why bother putting it on MSE? See last 2 lines of 2nd paragraph of this post
Youre a guy, why do you care? After being involved in the 'industry' for a length of time, I know how important it is to warn potential victims of crimes before they are committed, thus reducing the risk to any potential victim. This thread was put on here in the hope it might raise awareness of the potential risk
I hope the above has answered some of your queries/questions. Feel free to discuss on this thread but please don't leave any negative personal replies.

Does anyone have a shovel for the OP please?Vuja De - the feeling you'll be here later0

yes because of course, before the war we could all leave our doors unlocked and nobody nicked anything:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
A couple of years ago I accidentally left my keys in the front door and went off to collect my daughter. I didn't realise until I got home!
Another time I not only left the keys in the lock, but left the front door open and went off to town. I only realised it when I was on the bus and on my way there. Luckily I didn't panic too much as we're still pretty safe here. I do worry about my memory though (must be getting menopausal )0 -
You are lucky to find a hook on the inside of the door , why would they have hooks anywhere else?Vuja De - the feeling you'll be here later0

I think that the lesson here is that anyone who would hang their bag on the outside of a door while they went to the toilet in a public bathroom deserves to have their bag taken, it might teach them to think next time?
Also, I doubt this would be covered by home/contents insurance as the claimant basically GAVE her keys to the theives... Did the OP's sister's brother's husband's wife's acquaintance's colleague's dog say what had happened re the insurance? Would love to know...**Thanks to everyone on here for hints, tips and advice!**:D
