^ I agree with your sentiments. The housing market is in the grips of the 'perfect storm' and it is stalemate, as you say. But on the positive side, estate agents aren't getting paid so that's always a good thing.Everyone is entitled to my opinion!0

I'm a bit down at the moment - a house not far from us, similar size to ours but a semi when we are detached, went up for sale last week with the same EA and sold within a couple of days. It didn't sell on price - we are a bit more expensive but not that much more, and I can think of another detached house a similar size which is significantly cheaper - so it must have sold on location (practically next door to the secondary school). There are just so few buyers to go round at the moment!0

Gary Glitter didnt buy it did he? Personally I cant think of a worse location - with all those screaming noisey children hanging outside the house.
You never know with EA`s. I was quite shocked with one a few months back when I was buying. They showed me around a nice 1930`s house but the EA kept dismissing it saying how much work it needed and they felt id much prefer the 2nd house on their list - then proceeded to really praise the 2nd house up when I viewed that. It seemed to be some sort of deliberate selling tactic at the expense of the poor sellers of the 1st house.0
