Im also thinking of going with TT as they have just installed LLU in our exchange, i thought i saw it somewhere that 0870 & 0845 numbers are free but cant see it anywhere on the site0

deanos - I've just signed up for them and was told that for the ordinary package of bb and phone, the 0845 and 0870 numbers are free at evenings and weekends, though if you pay an extra £4 for the anytime package, then these numbers will be free at anytime.
The only exception is that the customer service/technical support numbers are 0870 numbers and that THESE are free at anytime.

Thanks for that but i would like to see it in black and white first, not disputing what you said but ive been told things in the past from call centres and it wasnt the truth, seems odd its not on there site surely its a big selling point0

We've just been informed by some bloke in a suit (carrying a TT ID card) that they've just bought/taken over Tiscali.
Can anyone confirm if this is accurate and what it might mean in the future for me?:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:
Any posts are my opinion and only that. Please read at your own risk.0 -

TT used to have a bad reputation, but we have had them for 6 months, no problems apart from one outage. Staff were helpful with a setup problem. So works for us.0

Been with them over three years now - excellent value for money0

Had TT connected and disconnected in January this year. The service is unreliable, the customer service even worse, technical help useless and their retention team a bunch of muppets. I got seduced by their low price, I think it was £21.99 for LL/BB and all inclusive calls. But £21.99 for something that doesn't work is expensive. I rely on my broadband, and when I am paying for something I expect it to work, all the time, when I want it. In around 10 years of BB useage, with AOL, Tiscali and various other ISP's, I have never had the problems I had with TT in just two weeks.
To save yourself heartache, problems and having to deal with just about the most useless communications company ever, walk away from them now whilst you can.
