Spud, I find CD so difficult because it's so 'all or nothing' and it plays on your emotions so much-you really have to be in a happy positive place for it to work, and lets be honest, are we ever really there when we are 'dieting'?

Here's a little 80's something to lighten the mood.

My neighbour decided to creosote his fence while my washing was on the line...

I don't know about you two but if ever a diet says I can't have something, I immediately crave it, break the diet and then feel cr4p.

I don't do diets now, nor do I weigh myself... ever!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

I felt happier fat, before CD than I did while I was on it. I found I was asking myself if it was all worth it, just for the sake of losing the weight.

I never missed food at all on CD. I did feel like an outcast from the family, I didnt feel I could sit with them with my soup or shake, while they ate a meal. It was definitely the antisocial aspect of it I struggled with.

How Maz has managed for all this time, I'll never know. She deserves a bloody medal :D

Did he splash your washing or does it just stink of creosote?

I wish I could one day feel content with what I am, and give up trying to be something I'm currently not :o

Listen to the Baz Luhrmann song, I love it, it really helps me to feel better when I feel down.
