If you behave as a disabled person dinnae be surprised what curse you've laid upon yourself..
So, how did you get on when you personally apologised to any & all disabled persons you had inconvenienced and who's disability you exploited?? And how's your health been jjes??
Cheers!

I assume that as you posted this directly after my post you are referring to me ?I thought the "Morally Indignant" squad knew by now that Disabled spaces have no legal standing on private ground.
This has got nothing to do with legal issues as to whether someone has the right to clamp etc etc. It's to do with "consideration" for those less fortunate
It's not to do with someone parking in a DB for 10 mins whilst they go and get their nails done or a ticket falling off a window.
What it is to do with is someone dumping a car for over two weeks in a DB making it unuseable for someone who genuinly needs it, something you don't seem to be able to grasp
On reflection I can see where the OP went wrong, what they should have done is dump the vehicle in your drive for 2 weeks whilst they went on their hols. Perhaps if you lost the use of your driveway or parking spot for two weeks you would get an idea about consideration.
Maybe you would be fully understanding and valet their car for them whilst the were away too :rotfl:It's not just about the money0 -
Perhaps it's similar to parking in my street, with a disabled bay marked each end because it would make most sense for disabled people to park in those spaces. I have never seen anyone with a disabled badge use the spaces. I admit to using one of these spaces once when there was nowhere else to park without blocking someone in, but kept a nosey neighbourly eye out the window and moved as soon as I could.0

FYI this site is about money saving - so discussing the illegality of parking "fines" issued by private companies is relevant.
The passing of moral judgements, encouraging trespass and wishing ill health on the OP are all totally irrelevant.0 -
Quo usque tandem abutere patentia nostra?

Not the first Latin quote to go wrong....
CENTURION: What's this, then? 'Romanes Eunt Domus'? 'People called Romanes they go the house'?
BRIAN: It-- it says, 'Romans, go home'.0 -
Ignore the parking 'fine' and forget about claiming back the money paid for the clamp, just take it on the chin and learn a lesson from it.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

It's a shame you are too embroiled in your in your war against PPC's since you were done for parking in a Parent and Child Bay at Sainsbury's to realise there is a difference
