That's the best thing about shopping in America - all the sizes are one smaller - I loved buying things in a US 12 when I was actually a UK 14 ;)

I bought cotbed stuff from Matalan. But if you use sleeping bags you really don't need much more than some fitted sheets. I have tons of blankets and stuff that I never use because Benjamin goes in a sleeping bag.

Edit - I think the Matalan stuff is good...although the quality of the fitted sheets is not quite as good as the flat sheets (but my hospital corners are awful!)

I wouldn't be able to remember HOW they were all different! :rotfl:

I have been trying for ages to convince DS1 that he NEEDS more than one pair of shoes. I insisted on getting him a new pair for his graduation because his old pair were really scruffy. And now he's bought his walking boots, so until his last pair fall apart he'll have 3 pairs of things to put on his feet! Oh the agony of decisions ... how will he cope? :rotfl:

Fortunately DH agrees that everyone should have more than one pair of shoes. I don't have that many, but I did have a bit of a sandal shopping spree a couple of years ago, and then I started to need my insoles supporting so I can't wear most of them regularly.
Savvy I do love you :D I've influenced my OH and boys though, Chris has about 6 pairs of 'current' shoes and OH has about 15 pairs!

I know that in 15+ years when I don't get hugs/kisses from them anymore I'll be thinking of you telling me how your boys do that to you (or I'll be considering trying for a girl to show me love :o)

Ladies - quick question - do you find Next sizes come up normal, big or small... ie if I'm normally a size 16 should I buy a 16 at Next?? HELP!
They are generous in sizes but I find it depends on where you're lumps n bumps are:rotfl:

I've 'only' got 3 fitted sheets for the cotbed one was a freebie from when I worked at zorbit and the other 2 I got from Kiddicare

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I was in the supermarket this morning, and a couple with a toddler and a tiny baby boy under 2 months were taking a route which intersected with mine again and again; the dad had the newborn snuggled into his shoulder and he was watching the world with this immensely satisfied fish-faced expression, through little beady eyes... I actually laughed out loud at one of our meetings and then had to scurry off terribly embarassed. He was cute, I was laughing with him not at him! :p

OH banished down the hill to the cafe to write and have a break for a couple of hours, Elijah due to wake from his nap any time soon, I wonder if he would be any help mowing the lawn?

bruno you could come and do my garden but you may need waders as it hasnt stopped raining in days!!

emlou i use matalan cotbed things or toys r us, but matalan usually have 3 4 2 so works out cheaper!

have cleaned neighbours rabbits, tidied up a bit, been to PO and now have to pick up a hedge trimmer from freecycle! might nip into matalan and look at their schools stuff??

Bruno, are you going for Husband of the year? What were you doing in a supermarket? My DH only enters such a place because I don't buy him beer (I don't drink so it's never on my radar, plus I just think its unnecessary :p)
