Just remember its just a phase :D

    Aaaarrrggghhh! :p:p:p:p:p:rolleyes:
Is it though? Surely I'm setting our relationship in stone and every little thing I do wrong harms him as a person .
I want to swap places with one of my friends - her boy runs towards her when chased , she doesn't understand it but is quite happy for him to do this indefinitely :T.

Yes, Caz, I'll send you a copy of the book I'll write when it's waaaay to late.
I just watch his antics with awe and wonder how toddlers survive as a race

my poor dog just been let out for a piddle and nearly got blown over :rotfl: ... so windy and wet round here ...

That happened to my old collie Sam once in a storm. He was standing on three legs having a wee and the wind blew him right over onto his side. I was absolutely ill laughing, then I was telling someone about it at work the next day and could hardly speak for laughing :rotfl:

Do I need to go on a course or something?
Joseph does his normal toddler stuff, I get annoyed, he never listens to me and I end up screaming at him . HELP!

You need to work on a firm sharp voice - not shouting, but just slightly raised. It's got to be the complete opposite of your normal soft voice.

I've started doing "counting to five" with Charlotte too and that seems to be working. She left the dining table tonight and I told her in my firm voice to get back on her chair and started counting to five. She did get back on the chair before five, so I praised her in my normal voice. If she doesn't do whatever she's been asked, I put her on the naughty stair for a couple of minutes.

I know it sounds stupid, but practice your firm voice on your own. It does take a little while to get used to doing it, but once you've got the hang of it, it becomes second nature.

An firm glare is a good to perfect too. When they start playing up in public places, you can give them the glare and they know they've gone too far, and nobody else realises they've been told off :D
Here I go again on my own....

Elle - did you say that you were having a party for Rhys on Sunday?
That was his due date wasn't it? Seems a bit poetic :D

Mel - we have been less than careful but haven't thrown all caution to the wind IYSWIM ;)

Not relying on breastfeeding at all but haven't started the pill yet and condoms just seem to be beyond us at the moment :p

I had a little girl in Jan 2006 - Breastfed her, and didn't think about any sort of contraception thinking i wouldn't get pregnant so soon...Had my son in Dec 2006:rotfl:
If google doesn't know it, how should i?

Did everyone change their bottles to BPA free ones when it was featured in the news a few months back?

I want small bottles to go with NUK standard teats but the ones I can find don't say if they're BPA free so I'm assuming not..

Or practice your firm voice on hubby ;)

My mum had a 'look' when we were kids...sometimes it was a 'we can't afford it' look which often came out in Clarks after we had our feet measured properly :o

For ages after money was less tight I would pull the 'there's nothing that I like mum' routine cos I thought I had seen 'the look' :rotfl:
