Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Do I need to go on a course or something?
Joseph does his normal toddler stuff, I get annoyed, he never listens to me and I end up screaming at him . HELP!

How do I get him to listen to me? I'm starting to rely on friends I'm with, or even total strangers to tell him to come back, get off chair, leave icky stuff on ground. He listens to anyone but me... Supernanny makes it look so easy...

Hi, btw, hope you're all well :D. I suppose I would be popping in here more often if I didn't desperately need to nap when Joseph naps, and if I made sure he got to bed at reasonable times. So tired...

    Good evening,

    Just caught up!

Had a fab day meeting 2 of my new mummy friends from my NCT antenatal classes for tea and cake. Leila was awake for the whole 3.5 hrs I was at the cafe and she just sat on my knee smiling and looking around. Its the first time she hasnt wailed for a feed and I was so proud of her.

After reading about it on here I am going to give her a dream feed in about an hour as she woke up last night at 4am and decided to 'play' until 7am. She was so gorgeous and I know i'm not supposed to play with her at silly o'clock but I couldnt resist those big brown eyes looking at me so we all cuddled in bed. She then went to sleep and slept until I woke her 11am.

I am also envious of your picniccing antics and look forward to seeing photos. xx
Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j

Before I forget - we have one possible picnic recruit from the Pregnancy Thread so far...

Anyone who pops in there can you let us know if there are any more (although it moves slower than this thread at the moment :D)
I couldn't believe how slow it was moving when I popped in this morning!

I'm with Caz, not a clue but would love to know!
Just remember its just a phase :D

How bad is this, the only way to get Chris to go to bed at the moment is if he cruies himself to sleep, I've on a few occasions shouted at him to make him cry so he'll sulk in bed and fall asleep :o:o

This made me chuckle so thought I'd share, its from a thread on mumsnet about kids answering the phone
    In our scenario:

    1) DS races to the phone and answers with a breathless "Hello?"

    2) By then Mum or Dad would be right by the phone.

    3) DS begins to describe everything he can see around him.

    4) Person on line says who they are and asks to speak to Mum/Dad

    5) DS holds out phone to Mum/Dad and tells us who is on the phone.

The first time he answered the phone to me, he held out the phone to his Dad saying "Daddy, Mummy's stuck in the phone!"

I'd offer you a place to stay but unless you're only bringing Erin and don't mind the sofa I couldn't fit you all in :p
