Hi All
Not been posting much lately, but just wanted to let you know Kai suddenly started draining 6oz bottles AND going 4 hourly!!! I think he was adjusting his eating pattern, but couldn't quite get the hang of it...oh well all sorted now and I bet he will have put on loads when we go on Wednesday.
Only thing is HV said he should be having 5 bottles a day, well he can't possibly, because there isn't enough awake hours...He goes to bed at 8(ish) and sleeps through till 6.30(ish) so can only fit 4x4hourly bottles into the day....
He is just napping before his next bottle:)
It is such lovely weather too:D:D:D
Take care all

mel, thats a relief
it might be the weather as seth has changed and all of a sudden is going longer between feeds and sleeping longer, either the weather or the hungry baby formula as both changed at the same time

can anybody recommend a good priced pushchair, only needed for 1year old + currently. The problem is we do a lot of walking mainly on road (up& down curb) and across the rugby field on dog walks. Our graco tour deluxe has just broken just after guarantee, so would rather get one recommended which will stand the pressure!0

nadnad I can give you advice on both the Zapp and petite star zia. The zapp is great little and sturdy enough for a small buggy but doesn't recline, nightmare I hate to see kids heads all flopped forward. Zia is great that is what I have now. It reclines which is a bonus the only downside is that it isn't as sturdy but I find it fine. We leave it in the car so if we end up in town at the beach etc it is good enough. HTH
We had a lovely day in grandma and grandas back garden although she has grazed all her shins with climbing the steps
hungrynurse try gumtree for a cheap second hand buggy. I would suggest a 3 wheeler, we have a dog and I've got the Quinny speedi and CANNOT recommend it but love the three wheeler for walkin.Everyone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070 -
Am I the only person who has never had an exploding poo and necessary outfit change while out? I have taken a spare outfit with us everywhere for the last two years after reading all the stories of people being caught short but have never needed them.
For a long time I ALWAYS had a change of clothes for ALL of them, because DS1 was forever falling over in puddles and you never know with tiddlers.
However, one day we were going for a meal with my family. It was quite a long drive, and I wanted to get out in good time, but we weren't expecting to find any mud and DS3 was 'reliable' in the toilet dept so off we went with no spares.
Halfway there DS2 threw up. All over his smart trousers. But we were fairly near a small town, so we parked and I hurtled into the nearest children's clothes shop which sadly had rather higher prices than I was prepared to pay. But they did have a sale rail with a natty pair of tartan trousers at a good price, so I bought them, and dashed back to the car wondering how I was going to persuade DS2 to wear them.
"Look, darling, party trousers!" Fortunately it worked, which it never would have done on DS1 who liked his clothes PLAIN! :rotfl:
Off we went again, not running TOO late now. And just as we got into the restaurant car park, DS1 threw up, all over his best knitted-by-grandma jumper.:rotfl:
