Keely- I wouldn't be ashamed of him having a bed time bottle, you've done amazing if he's having the rest of his milk from a cup. Inever managed it with Chris, he's still having A bottle before bed at 2.5yrs the way I seeit is "they" wouldn't be bothered if he was having a breast feed as a bedtime cue. I'm sure he'll out grow it soon:)
a good home made toys are
a bottle half filled with water and some glitter/beads/shiny stones lid on and seal with electric tape
an empty cardboard box-the nappy ones are a good size
middle of a toilet roll (chris still is entertained for ages by one ofthem
for toys to buy I look at the age group on ELC for ideas then look for cheaper alternatives

Ladies another 'thing' to earn vouchers like shop n scan has just appeared in THIS post
I signed up last night (had a few probs with the page but I was able to press back and not loose any info) they ask you when is ok for them to call you, I chose between 9am - 12noon and they called at 9am on the dot! good job I was awake!
My £50 amazon vouchers arrived from consumer pulse yesterday :j now I need to decide if I want the BT150 monitor or stick with my old one and save them for a new hoover or just get shiny goodies for me/Chris/Ed - not OH obviously :p
