Charlotte told me I looked really beautiful today. I've no idea why as I was just in black trousers and a white blouse for work, but it made me feel all warm and fuzzy.

I don't think I could do CIO, I think I need the cuddles as much as LO does!

I'm very annoyed, been spending all afternoon trying to get my web book set up. Luckily OH will be home soon to fix it for me!

Can't feed LO at the computer, but with this I can surf while on the sofa with him, which is good for hungry nights.

I was feeding Alice just now and she was on the second side when she stopped and started shouting, "Other side, other side." I pointed out she was already on the other side and then said, "How many sides do you think I have?" She then stopped feeding and said, "Two sides" in a tone of voice which implied it was really obvious.

OH came home and I burst into tears - think he is now realising how much all this is getting to me. He has just poured me a wine and said dont worry I will get up with the kids tonight. Better late then never I suppose.

quick question for you all - does nayone know if these extension kits work with stair gates that are fixed to the wall and have no bottom bar, like this one:

I have a stairgate for the bottom of the stairs but at the top I'd rather put the stairgate across the landing so if anyone were to trip they wouldn't go all the way down the stairs. DS1 (22months) opened one of the doors downstairs and its only a matter of time before he works out his bedroom door is the same and I'm terrified he'll go down the stairs on his own!
