I hinted and hinted that I wanted one when Benjamin was born but to no avail
I hinted that I wanted one, but no-where delivers them here, but my Mum got me a huge basket of fruit instead!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

A dummy, about ten muslins, his blanket, my blanket and usually the sky remote. As he tends to sleep in my bed instead of his bit, I use his bit as a bit of a dumping ground!

charlie has his quilt and a musical bear attached to the cot
erin has a musical bear attached to the cot, bumper and also mobile, she likes to pull the bumper? What's for you won't go past you0 -
Cot: From birth there were a couple of soft muslins in it, and the tiny love mobile - expensive but still used several times a day even now as a music player.
Now there are various toys- currently 2 rabbits, one monkey, one donkey, one alligator, charlie and lola dolls, 2 small teddies, and 3 ITNG toys...
I remember being very suprised by a friend who's 2 year old had a cot full of toys...fast forward 2 years and now it's my turn! The IVF worked;DS born 2006.0 -
there was other stuff I had thought of but baby brain has intervened! oh yes - finally listed the unused birth pool on ebay and had one enquiry about whether I would post. It's very heavy so I think my postage costs put them off! Oh well - i can see my catching the ebay bug if it sells - it's just rather time consuming thats all.
http://www.ccl-logistics.com/ecomm/ << I use these for big stuff - they search the best price for a few couriers. I'm currently waiting for Interlink to come and collect my moses basket and stand (bet they come at 3 when i'm at school!)Curious_George wrote: »afternoon ladies

Was holibobs fun?Pink_Princess_1 wrote: »:j We are having some health problems with DD1 who is 15 - she has been suffering with fits since January and is now under investigation for epilepsy , I am a real worrier and it used to amaze me when people say 'you just cope with it' but its true you really do just get on with things, so just enjoy Dylan being at home as much as you can:p
Just curious PP - are the fits kind of montly with her cycle? My little sister started having fits at around the same age - and we could (sort of) time them with her periods. She's 21 now, and still has them occasionally but its mostly controlled with drugs. Dr's have said its linked to her migraine. I also get the migraine part with blurred vision and slurred speech - but hers goes a little further into a fit. It was very worrying for her at first - but she's learnt to live with it now, and is very good with her medication.:beer:0 -

Spare dummies, mobile, muslins and a big long sausage dog type, squashy teddy from Ikea who she likes to grab onto and beat up!
Speaking of cots - I know that they are supposed sleep feet to foot and on their backs - but what do you do when they start moving and when I go up to check on her she's the other way around and lying on her tummy with bum in the air! She definately prefers to sleep on her front.:beer:0 -
MM that is great news. Need some pics once he's home.
MFD we have a cot full of toys about 20 in all  she has had that many since about 9 months. She only had 2 up until then.
MrsT sainsburys have got cream pooh bear muslins. £4 for 3

3 El slept on her tum from a very early age, I stopped turning her as i woke her up. Now I put her down on her tum sometimes when I check her b4 I go to bed her bum is in the air or her head is jammed against the bars but my attitude is she'll soon move if sh'e not comfy:rotfl:
It is different when there younger and not so mobile but if she likes sleeping on her tum and your happy with that then I would leave her, but if you feel uneasy for health reasons about her being on her tummy then turn her. My HV said if she can turn herself then she is fine coz I had a lot of trouble withel sleeping as she would only sleep on her tum/side. I ended up buying blocks so she slept on her side until she grew out the blocks!!
Ok I've just rambled enough so I'll shut up now.......
CG hope you had a great holEveryone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070 -

Also, now Benjamin is getting more mobile I think I need to remove his cot bumper. He also has 2 teddies that sit at the top of his cot which have long fur...I think they may need moving too. I have already removed his mobile because he could grab it!
What do you have in / on your babies cot?
Annabel has her special bear (ie mummy's favourite!), a bear from her youngest aunty, the mobile attached to the side of her cot and usually a muslinSpare dummies, mobile, muslins and a big long sausage dog type, squashy teddy from Ikea who she likes to grab onto and beat up!

I was thinking of Benjamin last night - when I went to check on Annabel she was upside down and the wrong way round in her cot -how she did it I have no idea!!! She was even in her sleeping bag! :rotfl:
The last few nights annabel has settled best on her side and I've rubbed her back and patted her bottom (her favourtie methos of soothing!!!:o) and she's gone to sleep that way - however, she rolls onto her back. I know she would be much more comfortable on her tummy (as I am), but I'm terrified to try that :rolleyes:r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0
