aw SB we miss you dropping in! We thought you were an honorary member!! Sami not on much either
Anyone would think you were busy with young babies :rotfl:

I just couldn't keep up! :D. But its lovely that lots of Mums from the thread are joining us here post-bump :T.

    xx
  • I misread that and thought your hubby wanted to swap me for you for a while :rotfl:

I think that kind of talk is for a different type of forum!;):rotfl:

Ah bless, is Baby MacSmiler still not sleeping? Were you thinking about weaning soon?
She is a beauty though :D

It just bowls me over how much you love your children. Benjamin has had both hubby and I in happy tears tonight, what a lovely little boy :D
It's weird to think that all of you feel just the same about your little bundles of joy!

I don't think anything can prepare you for that love :o.

MM, we've been told the same (well, we know Rhys has brain damage and he's had all the scans going), that they can't tell us what the future will hold and we'll just have to wait and see what milestones we hit and when. Like ladybird said, just enjoy Dylan for who he is now and deal with what happens if or when it happens - that's all we can do :)

That said, there are a lot of things we were told Rhys probably wouldn't be able to do and he's blown all those theories out the water :) Tonight, he's had tummy time and took no coaxing at all to push himself up and turn his head the other way to follow the noise of a toy :D He's also turned to look directly at a musical toy earlier whilst feeding - the nurse made him do it three times cos she thought it was fluke the first time!

Hugs MM. Keep talking - we're not real so you can say exactly what you think! Fingers crosed everything is ok and they're just being 'on top' with checks etc - and if there is anything wrong they'll spot it quickly.
We didn't know there was anything wrong with DS until he was not meeting milestones at around 12-18 months - its really hard to explain, but you do get through difficult times - you have to!
If you ever need a private chat/rant - we've all got PM buttons. ;)

Did the photo booth thing with James. You can't have any part of your body in the picture, so he had a baggy jumper on. I was squatting in the booth and holding him in the air with my hands up his jumper while my Mam was going "up a bit, right a bit" to get his head in the shot. Poor thing looked absolutely terrified in the pics!
    .

I wish i'd been there - that must have been so funny for an onlooker!

I remember when I was expecting No.2, thinking that I couldn't possibly love her as much as No.1 - i couldn't have that much love! But now, with No.3 here - they all get that same massive amount of love!! (Iykwim!)

Krystal - I'm another one that caught skin on baby when cutting nails :o I find normal mini clippers easier than the baby ones but try to bite/ pick them first, I felt like the worst mum ever when I cut Chris!

It's not been that warm here yet. It was cold and drizzly this morning, but dried up and got up to 22°C this afternoon. I love warm weather

I cut Charlotte's finger once when I was cutting her nails. She screamed and I felt really bad :o

She's started shouting "haaalllllooooooo" really loud at random people for some reason. It seems to make people smile though :D

Chris says hello/hiya to EVERYONE and if they don't reply he just keeps saying it until they do/are out of earshot :p

elle, I'm really sorry. I know you are going through a much tougher time than me at the minute and have been for a while. I feel bad complaining that there might be something wrong with Dylan. Thanks for the good wishes, I am going to try to stay very positive about the whole thing. I have had a good cry to myself tonight, had a mini breakdown with Chis, smoked my first 2 ciggies since I found out I was pregnant againa nd am now feeling a bit better :D
No point worrying about something we cannot control or may not happen

Oh and well done Rhys on the looking for the toy !!! :)
