Oh well overnight another 10 pages gone, sorry can't keep up.

Molly been a grump today but her 3hr day sleeps have over night in the last 2 weeks gone to 1-1.5 hours if i'm lucky, so she's tired, also jack has finally dropped his nap so i had two tired kids today in bed by half six!! Peace and quiet until gone 7am or longer if we are lucky.

We have a climbing frame and slide in the garden and jack has been hanging off it shouting Mummy i'm a monkey. Such as 2.5yr olds do!

Molly is doing well still despite teething and being grumpy and continueing to do things that Jack didn't do for months later, she amazes me totally. Must be a second sibling or a close together thing.

My friend rung me tonight to say she's 13 weeks pregnant and due 18 Dec. TBH it was a matter of if not when, her son will be 2yr5m by then so a more sensible age gap and similar to her and her brother, which is what she wanted. She's not bothered by the sex but she'll probably keep it secret like the first one. I'm hoping my other friend will announce a pregnancy soon, she's been trying for her second for 6 months and getting frustrated by lack of it. Baby that is!!!!

Maybe you have a phantom thanker

    :rotfl::rotfl:

Hmmmm - I've just looked on one of SB's, and it said she's been thanked 3 times - but I can only see two. If one of them was me, would it not show me (Does that make sense?)

SALI - I also had a big bustup with MIL a few years back, I was the evil temptress taking her baby boy away from her. :rotfl::rotfl:
I told her he was a big boy, he could make his own choices, he's not here tied up (not always anyway :D), etc etc!
Its been ok since then - not pally but civil. She's got his two younger brothers to concentrate on now - god help their gf's.
Now baby has come along, its her first Grandchild, we've seen a lot more of her but she's never stuck her nose in about anything (not to me anyway!) - the only problem we've got is she's buying everything she can find in pink! She has three boys, so she's enjoying the pinkness of having a girl.

ETA - I actually went shopping with her last Friday and had a pleasant day!

MFD - good luck with the race for life tomorrow. i am sure all will go well.

again, i read all the posts from today, but can't remember what i wanted to say.

oh feelie, the teeth, my baby girl has had her fingers constantly in her mouth for the past two weeks, dribbling like there is no tomorrow and has little red spots on her chin and just above her lip. a HV where i got her weighed today said she is getting ready for teeth but of course couldn't say when.

there is a thread in discussion time, but it seemed to be more about the ethics than the practicalities IYSWIM?

    hi thanks for replying.

well basically we're just starting out with cloth nappies. Have used bambino mios a couple of times, little lambs and bumgenius. Just wondering really if there was any guidance section on here, advice of best places to buy them from that kind of thing really :o

lu T and AF - i still call my DD "baby girl" and shes just turned 9! lol
All of mine are still my babies (big, medium and little), and they are all taller than me now, in their teens and twenties! :rotfl:

I am really glad I didn't know as much as you lot about hurrying babies along, btw. :rotfl: And that DH was also ignorant.

I always right click on the quote button to open posts I want to reply to in a new tab. That's why I can dredge things back from ages ago ... and the discussion's often moved on! :rotfl:

Krystal, any tips on increasing milk supply when skin-to-skin is not an option? Have to admit I'm near breaking point now.. God help my GP when I see him tomorrow - if he won't prescribe me something I might just throttle him :(

I'm drinking as much as I can, eating what I can force myself (but never have had the biggest of appetites, other than when pregnant), surrounding myself with pics of Rhys and his blankets, using a hospital-grade double pump and taking fenugreek but it's just not happening. He's on 25ml every two hours which I'm only just keeping up with :(

We can only do limited skin-to-skin due to it tiring Rhys too much. He's also not tolerating the larger feeds (was 14ml hourly until Sunday) too well and is being sick (waste of milk!) so we can't be picking him up too much as it unsettles his tummy.

I wouldn't normally have a problem with switching to formula, but Rhys had near total kidney failure and I've been told "putting him on formula would be the very worst thing we could do right now"... which, as you can guess, did wonders for how I'm feeling!
