Mentioned a few weeks ago on the ContractorUK thread (see my post no 1034538 as I can't post links here yet). Nyiri didn't show and he's not answering letters from the liquidator. Nyiri is a smart operator and knows that the liquidators go through the administrative motions then give up when it gets hard. Nobody will see the books that's for sure . The law allows this to happen which is the really galling thing (and they know it).
  • I've just looked and Sunday Solutions are still current.? Am I looking at the correct ones.?

Someone from the action group opposed the liquidation and it was held over.

I believe I am right in saying that none of us ever dealt with the company Sunday Solutions Ltd - Nyiri used SWM Ltd and registered SS Ltd just to protect the name. He also registered the sundaysolutions.co.uk domain and used it for his website and email addresses. Check your paperwork and it is always SWM Ltd and Sunday Solutions is not mentioned, just the "Sunday solution". Smoke and mirrors - these guys are clever.
  • Any emails to @sundaysolutions.co.uk will definitely fail, they lapsed with the domain. As FeedtheKids says, Sunday Solutions Limited still seems to be running on companies house.

I did point someone else at the registered address there.
  • Hi,
I have managed to get the money from Von Essen which means half my tax bill is covered. Sunday/Bradury still owe me a wodge of cash and I am trying to join the action group in the hope of some justice. We've managed to scrape the rest of the tax bill togther through various means and it should all be paid by tomorrow.

    Good luck to you all.
  • Has anyone actually visited their registered address?

If so were their offices there and did they speak to you and did you get anywhere?
  • I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you will probably find that they haven't been paying your tax at all. The reason you had a tax rebait was because hmrc probably have no record of you earnings in the partnership and think you haven't been working. Hence the tax rebait.

    Hi,

I'm also affected by the same problems as posted here by other people. I've only done a small amount of work through the Sunday Solutions arrangement and I'm fortunate in that Bradbury have paid my tax - in fact I even got a return from HMRC!

The problem I'm facing is that Bradbury has an over-retention of funds set aside for tax. This, I have been trying to get back since January this year. Of late Bradbury insist, it's not their responsibility to administer the partnerships but it's down to Sunday. When I spoke to Sunday, they said they would try to sort it out but they never did.

Having tried to contact Sunday and Bradbury over the last few days has resulted in answer machines which have full voice mail systems. I also note that the Sunday website appears to be offline. I've sent an email to one of the directors (Andrew Nyiri) personal mail address - but somehow I doubt I'll get a reply.

You may also be interested to know that others outside of this threat are affected by this issue and the thread can be found at contractor UK (I can't post a link as the system won't allow as newbie to do so)

There is mention on there of a group being set up to try and recover what's owed to people - might be worth getting in touch.

p.s. - yes I'm new here and so have a low post count too - thanks to Google and my search of "sunday solutions problems" - I found this post!

Would be interesting to know - I'm sure some of the action group would have tried this?

I've been curious for a while as to why Sunday Solutions Ltd got re-registered in Coventry - breaks the pattern somewhat. Anybody here checked this address out?
  • Folks, like the rest of you I am my wits end with Sunday/Bradbury/Willowmeade etc. I have just had my Self Assessment completed and uploaded at their own cost by one of the managers at VonEssen Ltd. Up to now they have been most helpful, but sadly I have hit a block where I need the Undistributed Profits/Retentions forwarded to me so that I can pay HMRC. With everything that has been posted it concerns me that I stand little chance in recovering these monies and that being the case can anyone point me in the direction of the Sunday Action Group so that I can register to it..
  • I have just received an mail from Bradburys detailing what was my Partnership detail, I suspect this was sent in response to my request for details of when I am likely to receive the monies due HMRC. Sadly this is the second time I've received this data and it baffles me why they have re-issued it again.
