I had my final 6 months cashback from The Mobile outlet a couple of weeks ago for mine and OH phone (£360). It was a month late but I only had to chase once.

Lucky you! I was also pleased on my first contract, 2nd time round has been dire. have to chase money for weeks and still chasing now! DO NOT USE THEM

I have received all my cashback from the mobile shop on a contract that ran from October 2005 to September 2006.
I have also received all my claims to date back from my current contract with the Mobiel Outlet (there was a bit of a problem with the amount of the first payment but that was eventually resolved)
Howvere, my husband has only received one stage payment so far from Mobileshop on a contract from Apr 2006 to Mar 2007 and is currently threatening them with legal action.
He has just sent off his first claim to Mobile Outlet so I have no idea how this will progressNewlywed & skint!0 -
My first contract which ended in 2006 went ok, current contract is a nightmare.
DO NOT USE MOBILESHOP unless you love stress, aggro, no customer service and no money back.
Customer service, including supervisor tell me "can't give any dates as to when you may get your money" and "there are thousands of people waiting, you will just have to be patient" !!!!!!! No money, no help, no advice, no sympathy. Just a totally unacceptable shambles.

Looking to dump my o2 contract and get on one of these vodafone deals on first page in above link.
I understand I have to send in certain bills etc and get my full rental back over 12 months.
Anyone have any experience with them regarding cashback claims?
Anything I need to watch out for?
Thanks in advance for any help.0 -
I havent done it myself but its real tricky, if you miss the deadline then the whole scheme fails and u dont get a penny
say there was another royal mail strike and u sending the bills back 3 days late wasnt ur own fault they wouldnt take that into account and still cancel the scheme
they basically try to prevent giving u the money back any way u can
imo, avoid it0 -
Kalfus1986 that is not true as was proved in the case against phones2U. They might try it on but you would have a legal right as the condition would be something out of your control and therefore deemed to be unfair. But you do have to stick to the terms and conditions rigidly from your side.0

The p4u cashback procedures look very simple. They send you a voucher with a claim date on it. At the claim date you have 60days to send in your most recent bill. They then send you a cheque and a new cashback form.0

Thats the idea I got from it.
Will make my decision over the next day or so.
Desperately trying to find a "perfect" deal. Sure they dont exist though0 -
I have just completed my 2nd 12 month contract with E2save. All cash back was received on time.
