just got my final chequeback from the Link - I wasn't expecting to get it because I upgraded my contract direct with the network 2 days befvore my 12 months was up (I was expecting them to use that as an excuse) - Was delighted to get my final £60 cheque through the door yesterday morning...

The Link has been great for me.....
  • I've been anti rebate deals for as long as they've existed, however I took out the one with CPW this Feb.Threads on this forum make me question my decision.

Have only been doing cashback deals in the last 8 months but had 2 x £180 cheques (got 2 phones) from the phones4u at month 6 no probs and 2 x £120 cheques (another 2 phones month 4) from carphonewarehouse. Awaiting 2 x £120 cheques from carphonewarehouse (month 8) which ive received text acknowledgement of.

Have just taken the pink v3 and D600 from e2save so will see how that goes.

I dont know if everyone gets texts from Carphonewarehouse to say they have received the cashback claim but i think its really good idea and saves wondering if they have received your claim or not.

I took out two phones on the same contract, on a cahback basis last May, from CPW. Each time I have sent in the relative bill, I have got a cheque back for one phone. I have had to chase CPW on three occasions with multiple calls/emails etc. I would suggest that if you are going to get two mobiles from CPW at the same time, have two distinct contracts with different numbers. Some of the staff leave a lot to be desired when dealing with more than one thing at a time. I have sent in casback requests two and three in separate envelopes, however they tell me that that they have only recieved one.
Methinks they see the the contract No. and propel the second request towards the nearest recycling receptacle.
    Hope this is of use.

I have just received my first cashback from mobileshop today.

They were very nice to acknowledge the receipt of my voucher by email and in the same email they had given the date of payment. I was just seeing my bank account on the internet now and they have credited my account on the exact promised date.

Very easy and smooth payment. Not needed to chase at all. Great business.

To make better sense of these polls it would help to have a "sticky" results thread giving a percentage of paid to lost.
ie e2save with 32 paid and 2 lost would give around 96%.

i have been with dial-a-phone for two years now renewing my contract every June and getting a new phone + cashback for 12months along with a £20 refund for recommending myself!! Current contract is with O2 200 and it is costing me £4.99 a month with cashback abd had no problems at all. Send latest bill at montyh 3, 6, 9 and 12 an they are as good as gold. Looking forward to looking for my new contract in June. Downside is that you have to change numbers but to get over that I keep the original number on a pAYG and then leave a message on the phone to ring my new number.

I now only use the home phone in the evening and weekend for the free calls and use the mobile for 0870 and 0845 numbers which are also included in the minutes on the o2 200 tarif. Cut my bills down by £25 month!!! on the home phone. Note I find the cheapest 12month cash back tarif with 12month minimum cotract I just got my sister one with £3.99/month min contract 12months and cashback for 12months need to give 1 months notice to cancel. These deals are only available on the website and you need to hunt but they are there!

Dialaphone paid me out OK but that was years and years ago (2001-02 thereabouts).

I think that it's important to point out that past performance is no guarantee to the future - some of us know that when thinking about companies that always paid up and then went under (usually with the VAT man's assistance) - FWDcellular.
