First voucher claim has just taken 43 days to process from them receiving it. Website states 45 days max. Cheque arrived this morning, no chasing required. Did not receive a text from them to confirm receipt of the voucher even though their website says you will get one.

My sister and I bought our phones on the same day from E2save and I dealt with both claims to keep things easier. My "account" on the website said I was to send July bills so when the time came I completed the vouchers and only then noticed the table on the back of the form said I should have sent June bills. I checked her "account" on liine and hers said June also.

I started to panic as I thought we would have missed out but I sent both claims along with a letter explaining that initial paperworks said fourth month's bill, as did one page on the cashback leaflet and also my account on the website, which was the one we were going by.

I was relieved when I got a text message saying my claim had been received, then another saying it was successful. Unfortunately my sister did not recieve any text messages and we didn't think it was fair I was getting mine but she wasn't - after all we bought them the same day, our bills were dated the same, etc. so I phoned to find out what was going on. Thankfully they confirmed she was getting her cheque too and apologised for her not getting any text messages as this is sometimes a fault with their system.

Both our cheques arrived on the 22nd August (our claims were sent on 13th July)

I am also at the end of my 12 month contract with mobileshop.com but am now very concerned. They have paid the first two as promised. The third is due today and now they have changed the dates and extended payment by 2 weeks! Didn't think they could do this! Not responding to my emails.Had an email concerning the 4th payment and I notice this email says will have to wait 60 days (should be 45) for the processing and will not be paid until December.

Not good for a company to start altering its terms. Do they have cashflow problems???

Isn't it free for nothing.Just think if you really needed a mobile phone and bought one you would have to pay what ever it costs. You get same phone ,same tarif, same service and on the top of that through cash back its all free.even you don't get cash back and the retailer cheated still you have used the mobile phone service.(I know the Free thing gives an extra buzz.)My experience is as long as you claim the cash back according to the T&C time table they seem to be sending cheque.I must admit i missed a couple. For that reason its better to go for 2 X six monthly cashback offers rather than 4 times one. That means you have to do 2 more time.

Hi, I just voted for Mobileshop.com as they pay up.

I received my 1st cash back from after chasing it up with two email they replied too both emails within 24 hours.

However the reason for the delay they explained was they have changed there T&S from 45 days to after 60 days, apart from that all seems to have gone ok so far.

I like the cash back web tracker and the fact they reply to you with 24 hours.
I have a few issues which I will post them in a new thread.

    Regards
  • Hi

We have been having problems with the mobile outlet. We sent our 1-6 bills back within the stated time. However they have refused to pay our cash back as they say we should have sent a dispatch note. However the terms and conditions when we took the contract out did not say this.

On the 3rd July they changed thier terms and conditions (this is after we took our contract out with them). In these terms and conditions they state to send the dsipatch note.

They will not talk to you over the phone regarding any cash back issues. They have been slow responding. Completley unhelpful.

We are trying to speak to CAB and Trading Standards. Not sure if we will ever get the money back even though we are in the right.

I would never purchase anything thing else from this company and defiantely would not recommend them.

Kilraine which network provider are you with? The reason I am saying this is because apparently 3 are saying they are getting tough on phone retailers who treat customers like this. That is because customers are complaining to the networks so it is worthwhile us complaining to our network if your retailer tries these tricks.

dont know if you cant give any more info .... I have just bought a virgin sim card for £15 a month - but after reading posts on this site - ahve checked my coverage and it is really really poor!! So - this time tomorrow I may be on the lookout for another deal!! (sim coming tomorrow). In the mean time just in case .... I read your article with interest .... but when I went on the site - dial-a-phone - and looked at 02 (cos I think they do have better coverage here in this area .... but thought they were expensive ...) I could not find any good deals at all!! They were all like - £17.50 a month .... are you allowed to say on this site where the - for example - £3.99 month etc deal was ??/ I did hunt but could not see!! Grateful for any help.
