Any Tesco savings vouchers about????
Comments
-
I got my reply from Tesco and it basically says they do not accept vouchers unless paying for the product they were intended for.
They will accept Sainsbury's / Safeway branded vouchers......
We're sorry but...
We can only accept Sainsbury's or Safeway branded coupons for money off your
total transaction.
We cannot accept coupons valid only for specific products or departments.
We can only accept up to £15 worth of coupons for one delivery.
I think I will stick to Waitrose.0 -
For what it's worth - I have found that Tesco's will accept any voucher with a bar-code on it, including stuff from https://www.homesolutions.com and https://www.wishvalue.com. The only reject I have had (except for out-of-date) was a coupn clipped off a back of biscuits which simply didn't have a bar-code.
If you do get a reject, just try a different cashier next time. I do know people who have managed to pay for a whole shop, minus a few pence, with coupons at both Tescos and Asda.
If you don't ask, you don't get!
Happy hunting

Heres my reply from Tesco's
For branded coupons ...
We will accept one coupon, which is in date, regardless of whether or not
you have purchased the product, as long as the product is sold by Tesco.
However, if you present more than one coupon for the same product, then you
must purchase the same number of actual products. For example, if you
present three identical coupons, three of the products referred to on the
coupon must be purchased....There is no specific limit on the amount of
coupons we can accept but acceptance of a large number of coupons in one
transaction is at the discretion of the Store Manager.
I wonder if I run around tesco take one item to the till use my money off coupon, run around again take another item use another money off coupon, run around again..........mmmmmmmmmmmmm LOL0 -
Hi Kaznelson
I would like to keep a printout of your response from Tesco’s in my wallet as my local Tesco supermarket refuses to take any coupons unless I have purchased the products.
Could you please post your response from Tesco’s again but this time include the respondent’s name and department.

Went to the same Tesco I normally use the other day and the stupid woman wouldn't take any of my £5+ bag. "Oh they're for Sainsbury's anyway". I nearly poined at the sign above her head saying they took Sainsbury's coupons but couldn't be bothered. She took a 30p cheese one in the end (hmph).
Incidentally in our local Superdug they have Clearasil trial packs at the checkouts with a £1 voucher on the card, behind the free sample0 -
St Ivel Gold 500g tubs still have 20p off vouchers in them.
Fixture Ferrets says the 500g tubs are reduced from 99p to 59p in Safeway but I shopped there yesterday and they're actually reduced from 89p to 49p.
While i'm on the topic of Safeway, while you're in there if you're thinking of grabbing some of the £3.99 BOGOF cheddar keep an eye out. Some of the packs have 30% extra free on them.
