As lokolo says, ..... it's likely to ask is for you to confirm there has been no changes to your income/circumstances and also that you give permission for your details to be used again for this year's application.
My partner didn't have to confirm anything about his income it just asked him to confirm he is supporting me this year 09/10.
It becomes complicated I think..
He earned less in 08/09 than 07/08 because he spent 3 months unemployed and since January is in a job that pays £3k less.
We don't know exactly by how much though as his P60 is definitely wrong! It only shows us what he has earned in this most recent job up to April about £4k?!
The P60 has just been sent off to HMRC as they made an error with taxable benefits (medical cover) from his old job so his tax code was wrong they thought preston benefits agency gace him medical cover hee hee! Will they re issue a correct P60 too as it's obviously incorrect?:kisses2: Got married September 2011:smileyhea

I think they would have to.0 -

My parents are filling out my student loan application now, but they want financial details for 07/08, the household income dropped considerably from 07/08 to 08/09, yet they wont take any details from the previous financial year, why?!!!?!
They are missing out a complete financial year, madness?0 -

Fill it in and get it approved for 07/08, then fill in a change of circumstances form. It'll take a bit longer to get the extra money but at least you'll get something.Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
The change of circumstances form will change the household income originally stated in the application?0

I have a question regarding student loans. I took mine out between 1994 and 1997 and have never earned enough to pay them back. Whilst I did keep them up to date about this for many years as time has gone on and I had kids etc I forgot to keep them informed.
I cant find any paperwork relating to them.
I was hoping to start a PGCE course this September but it says on the form I should have any student loan problems resolved before even applying for funding.
I am guessing they are going to want the whole amount back from me now (Originally £3000) since they havent heard from me before I can get my fees paid. I cant afford to pay the loans back or pay they fees. Do I have any other options?Total 2019: £3972 - Best win this year £3000
2018 total £4062/2017 total £2260/ 2016 total £2025/ 2015 total £3809.0 -
Hi SLCworker,
My daughter was born and educated in the UK, but took a year out and went as a voluntary worker to Lebannon for 9 months from where she applied. When asked if she had lived or worked abroad in the last three years, she answered yes and gave her address as Lebannon. SLC decided she is not eligible for a loan without proof that her contract was temporary. She sent them the original of her contract which got lost and a letter from her employer, sent last week, will not be 'processed' for another three weeks.
By that time she will be beyond the deadline for confirming her finance with the college she is going to.
So here are the questions, where are the regulations governing the SLC?
how much will it cost to put my daughter through college without a loan? She is a UK resident and on the electoral register.
Is there any way to speed up the process?
To whom do we complain with best affect?
The SLC website is completely unhelpful!
Please help.
Regards,

I believe you can have your income reassessed if it has changed from the figures given on the application form in this case from 2007/8. Using the change of circumstances form.:kisses2: Got married September 2011:smileyhea

I assume from your post that you haven't been sending in the deferment forms for some years, in which case the outstanding amount (and charges, unfortunately) will now be due. You should be able to arrange a payment plan but I doubt that you'll be able to take out another loan before this is repaid.
Depending on what subject/ level you're planning to teach, the GTP could be an option for you, or possibly the OU. Starting another course this year looks unlikely, I'm afraid, unless someone will lend you the money for the £3,000 plus that you owe.0
