Duncan - come on girl - get back on track, you know you can do it!
I have now finished Cambridge. Since leaving I have lost another pound and am being very careful this time around not to put it all on again. I am counting calories and upping the exercise and am going to see if I can get another half a stone off on my own, so hope I am still welcome here to keep me on track and to keep up to date with your successes too. ps where's the Fox??
Hi GoldyIm here. sort of. Very busy with work and writing and stuff. I deserve
:o:o:o faces, since mrA and i have been tucking inot cakes

Evening everyone - first weigh in and I lost 12lbs Whoo hoo!:j Other half lost the same, so am very excited and feeling very proud of myself, think lots of it may be water but it doesn't matter as I only need to lose 2lbs next week and thats a stone in fortnight!
Pap thanks so much for your advice, the food I am buying at the moment is all for Joshua so if I eat food at home its his food I'm eating so going have to start thinking of cheating as stealing food from a 7 year old - hopefully can emotionally blackmail myself in to not cheating. I have to sya I don't feel like it right now as I'm so pleased with my loss but know that may all change in a couple of days when the cravings kick in.
Thanks everyone for helping me out and sharing your words of wisdom - I'd love to be part of the 7 day challenge if thats ok. x0 -
Goldie, how do you manage to keep it off?
I was a pound away from target but then put two pound on last week because i had a couple of lolly ices and a pizza oh dear.
I'm hoping to be at target when i get weighed next as i have a three course meal for my prom next week and am going to the isle of man for my little sisters communion
Give me some tips if you canWhat do you eat? have you binged yet? xx

evening all - not much chattering going on? Is everyone keeping a low profile?
I spoke to my soon to be new CDC, and i will meet with her on 26th June, after my weekend in Leeds, and by then i shall almost certainly have used up my spare packs, plus i don't have to struggle to find the cash between now and month end... thank goodness..... new woman seems phenomenally nice!
Work has been busy so haven't been posting during the last couple of days.... but i'm being good as gold at work, less so in the evening...
has anyone seen my mojo? i seem to have misplaced it? if it's found please return to me, i'll refund postage!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Maz, I am glad you got everything sorrted. Enjoy your run next weekend :j
Quote of the day ~
I am only one,
But still I am one.
I cannot do everything,
But still I can do something.
And because I cannot do everything
I will not refuse to do
The something that I can do.

I'm being good at work, but falling apart in the evenings too:mad:
I think a lot of it is because I havent been drinking enough water:rolleyes:
So, I've been having a serious talk to myself. Need to get back on the straight and narrow.
So, average loss is 1 stone each four weeks. Although this will fluctuate over the period we can reasonably assume that for 2 weeks, you should lose around half a stone, so for a week it is not unreasonable to lose 3.5 lbs.
Thats half a pound loss EVERYDAY:T. IF you stay focused.
So you need to remember, next time you reach in the fridge for that little bit of ham, or just finish something off the kids plate.
That is a whole half a pound you are giving up:eek:.
Then consider, if you go for more than the ham, and have say Omlette and chips and gravy and curry and peas from the chippie. Followed by a Maltesers ice cream. Not only will you give up that half a pound, you will get another half a pound back for your excesses, so will wipe out the previous day that you were wonderfully angelic.
So my new Mantra must be "half a pound off or half a pound on", "half a pound off or half a pound on" etc.........
So, new day new start, I have my 750 mils of water, must drink at least this by noon.
Hope this helps anyone...... Will keep you posted on my progress:rotfl::rotfl:0
