Maz
I think my ss+ meal on Monday has brought on this negativity  Now even my shakes taste awful whereas I loved them hours before eatingI wont give up, I cant, faluire is not an option... Hence why I have had an outburst here (which I am now so very sorry about and I am embrassed to post here now) instead of heading to my usual haunts and cheating. I am very proud of myself that I have nearly done a month 100% :j
I just emptied my piggy bank to get mum to buy me the tablets that have been reccomended on minimins and she said she would buy them. Of course I then got angry with her and asked why she didnt offer yesterday  Not very good and that made me feel even worse.
I just want to let people know that may be reading that this diet is hard its not all fluffy and light. Yes it can be easy and I have had easy days which far outweigh the bad but when you get bad days they are very dark days. If I knew then what I know now...
Anyways goodluck those of you who are doing 100% days. My secrets are online games, paint and matey baths :rotfl:
Oh and I have decided to set myself little goals when I reach I can have a 'reward'. I have wanted to collect momiji dolls for ages but couldnt justify the cost. However I want something to aim towards and £13 every 30lbs I feel is justified
*btw maz, are we still having the party on the beach/fun run thingie down Dorset?*0 -

I started the original thread 2 years ago - doesn't time fly!
I lost about 4 stone over 16 or so weeks - some hardcore weeks and some cheat weeks.
I pretty much did ss and then went back to my normal eating ways.
I have kept the weight off since I stopped, going up and down by half a stone at any one time!
I gave up for a number of reasons:
Because I went from a 20/22 to a 16 I felt soooooooooo slim I guess I lost my motivation.
I had health issues - colds, coughs, etc etc which got me down, I now don't blame SS but at the time I found it hard as I am not normally a poorly person. And everyone kept on telling me it was the diet.
I suppose I also just wanted to be normal again!
Since stopping I have tried to get back on the wagon soooooo many times, and it is very hard.
I would say that if you can keep with it until you reach your goal, whatever that maybe be. It will be better than having a break and then trying to get back on it!
I am a 14/16 now but would love to be a 12/14, I have a large frame and I am 5.8 so any thinner and I could look a little odd and I don't want to lose my curves.
I am on holiday next week and then I am trying again - 2 stone should do it! I am trying a different counsellor, so see if this makes a difference in terms of my motivation.
Poggy if you can please try and keep going, I made the mistake of stopping and can't get back on it again.0 -
My CDC did say to me that people who never ever cheat have the easiest time..... i just thought she was talking carp as she makes it up as she goes along!!
Personally i would never have got to 18 weeks without "doing a Maz" but it does take me a while to get my head back in the game each week...... so there's probably something to be said for not cheating.
Pap - i'm booked in for hotel from 31st July to 6th August so let us know what your rota is as soon as you know... probably on the 1st/2nd aug for the weekend minimeet!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

:rotfl: Duncan... Paint refers to my art journalling and craft work. Although I dont claim to be much good at it.Matey baths is a strange one, the other day I really really fancied a bubble bath (usually shower), and I have never had such a bubbly bath since matey (I was about 7/8 years old). So I tracked down my boots card and got a bottle free :j Love them and have one every two days if not every day :rotfl:0 -

I do like a good bath, its always been my me time, light a few scented candles and my oil burner, a good book, and pre CD a bottle of wine! Now I treat myself to sparkling water.;)0 -

Hi LLH!! welcome back, we've only just moved in the last week or so... your original thread was a real inspiration!
Well done on keeping to your half stone limit, that's my plan, i'm gonna allow myself half a stone and work hard to stay within that limit...
Once i get there of course!!!
Sue - can you put me down for a 100% day purlease!!! yay me! And i did i 3.5mile run as well, so super-de-duper!! There was garlic bread again, but i resisted..... i just went out for my run and left them to it!
What did you do about the fish pie? Will they eat it tomorrow?I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0
