Another 3lb's gone this week, that's 15.5lb since starting 26 days ago. Tried my target pair of jeans on and managed to get into them although I couldn't really wear them as they are way too tight but there is definitely progress and my target of wearing them out on 24th September should be more than achievable and if I am lucky they could be to big !
Hello and welcome Bullseye1, I hope that by this time tomorrow after you have started that your nerves will be long gone and I hope that you too in a matter of weeks will have seen some dramatic weight loss- good luck.

thanks worried jim, i met with my consultant last night and she was lovely and made me total relax and actually enjoy my appointment. i am not a fan of milk shake so decided to get 7 chocolate orange and 7 chocolate mint shakes and 7 vegetable soups. i am doing the sole source. shakes aren't that bad and have already managed 4 pints of water too. day1 is nearly over every1 keeps telling me first 3 are the worst so will be very happy when they are over.
  • well day 1 went ok managed to stick to 2 shakes and a soup had 6 pints of water and was so sick of water took myself off to bed at 9. woke this am with a terrible headache and feeling sick which cleared with 2 paracetamol and a pint of water and day 2 is nearly over and still sticking to the plan.:T

Hi I lost 4 and half stone almost 2 years ago using the Cambridge Diet for 3 months and then eating healthily afterwards. Sadly for many reasons I have put alot of weight on since Christmas and because I refuse to get back to square one, I have decided to go back on the diet to give myself a break from eating rubbish!! I want to lose 2 stone by mid Novemebr when I will be 40!! Looking forward to sharing in the support with you all. Have a good week
  • i can't rate this diet enough. I tried everything and was at my wits end and in total denial about how heavy I actually was. After just twelve weeks I have shed three stone and five and a half pounds. I am delighted and quids in too. Previously, I used to buy bottles of wine like they were going out of fashion as well as frothy coffees and chocolate/crisps. Now there are no extras and my husband has lost weight too. Great result. I have another two and a half - to three stone to go.

  • Hi, I have a question hopefully someone can answer, I have polycycstic ovaries, so even though I need to lose quite a lot of weight to improve my condition, I find it extremely hard. I am wondering if the Cambridge diet would help me lose the weight I need to lose and hopefully reverse the effects of my condition, as I am currently getting no support from my GP. Many thanx x

It's a really good plan if you have got PCOS. Would certainly help you lose the weight, especially the lower plans.
