Evening my Cd friends, remember me :rotfl: I know when I last updated I said I would keep you updated but to be honest I just havn't remembered and I unsubed :wall:
Glad too see you are doing well Piratess, HWGA & Kitti... Hi to all the 'newbies'. I am doing fab, been back on plan for over 3 weeks now after my break and I must say I still don't regret my break. I should be back down to my CD lowest this week all being well and I am ready for my last 3 stone. I have also started running and I am enjoying it so much, never thought I would but alas I am. I am certainly getting ready for maintance. No way on earth is all this weight going back on
Oh and to those of you who have fallen off the wagon, dust yourself off and jump back on. The longer you leave it the worse you will feel when getting back on. Also each time you go to eat something think of it as another 2+ weeks on the diet and ultimately another £40/£80. A 20p teacake or £10 chinese just doesnt seem to cut it then :rotfl:
Keep on going all :j0 -
oooo ello stranger ! ... nice to see you
.. Your sounding very Chipper indeed!
I have to admit i am one of those who have fallen from the wagon and am finding it hard to get back up! I need help and dont know what to do ....
Help !!!!!!!!!!!!Hoping to be a thinner me in 2010!0 -
Hey Piratess, well now its time to dust yourself off and start day one again! If you have eaten today make today your last day, then tomorrow its back to it. Each hour at a time, each meal at a time and each situation at a time... If need be set yourself a lil challenge, is there a new piece of jewellery you want? Or maybe a item of makeup? Set yourself a target, 100% (SS or SS+) for 7 days and you get your reward... Eat and its back to day one. Also keep updating here, so each night post here, even if its just to say, had all shakes done all water and now I am off to bed. Having people waiting to see if you have done it and willing you on really helps, I will do it with you if it helps, well it did for me all those months away.
You can do this! You did weeks and weeks without eating when you first started. Find that fire/passion again and keep on going, I know you have it in there somewhere. You had a dream, you still have it in your sig ~ to be thin in 2010 you can still do it! You can!

Oh Paps you always have such a lovely way of jollying everyone up .. Id love to do it along with you ..
I had a really bad eat, I had an indian tonight, This morning i was just in K .. very light pink,
The water has slipped the coke zero has started edging its way back in and tea times im finding are the worst now, Im picking at food thats left or im actually hiding in the kitchen sneaking a bite so noone can see me! ...
My shakes are still in the cupboard im only managing about 1 a day and then just not bothering,
Not good i know! ... I really want to put this behind me a start a fresh week as of tomorow ... BUT the thing that scares me is im due to get weighed on monday morning,
I was wondering if to let my CDC come with my tetra but not weight until next monday and use this as my first week ... What do you think? ..
Im scared if i weigh and ive gained or not moved it will put me in a oh well ive gained lets eat frame of mind ..
any advice? ...

Piratess, I am happy to do whatever to help. I have been there and I know how easy it seems to pack it all in. You havn't given it all up yet though because you still have your CDC coming. The best thing to do is go back to the start, don't test for Ketosis for 4 days, don't think about food too much and get back to basics. That means no coke, water... No nibbles, water... No cheat's, 100%.
Don't worry about weigh-in. Speak to your CDC and just ask if you can have a week off from weighing, I did once and she didn't mind. Or if she must weigh you ask not to be told and not written on your yellow card. then just think if you are 100% from tomorrow that means you will be in Ketosis by Wednesday and then you will have a good 8 days before next monday :T
Also remember your techniques for when you started... Did you go for walks/baths/read/chill to get over those eating pangs. Start those things up again
I believe in you, you can do it :j0 -
Hi Guys
Just wanted your advice please as ive come across your lovely thead!
I have a family wedding at next month - its the in-laws and so I could like to look asa good as possible! I have left losing weight to the last minute as always - April seemed like such a long way away - and now its practically here!
I am 5.5 and 12.7 at the moment. Struggling to find decent and flattering clothes to wear as i have a big tummy, boobs and butt!! I know someone who lose three stone but was on it for a abour 4 months - couldn;t really afford to do it for that long!!
Any thoughts/ideas on what I could realistically lose doing CD along wtih proper excercise by the first of April?? any guestimates/your experiences would be great!
thanks for any replies and keep up with your great losses!0 -
Thanks Paps ... yeah i did the baths the early nights the reading and surfing lots ..
The weekends are always a battle for me because my OH is at home and he eats anything he likes .. which makes me feel like nibbling The water thing is definatly going to be my number 1 priority, This morning the first thing i did when i got up was put the kettle on!!! ..
Normally the first thing i do it have a pint of water as soon as i get up so i knoew things have been slipping ..
Ok tomorow day 1 .. ill aim for 2 litres and ill try and nip here as often as i can for updates ....
ive got a challenge going on for march for 10lbs lost ... so thats somthing else to keep in mind, because some of the other lovely posters here have joined up to! ...
Im off to bed now, thanks so much Paps .. it means alot, you were there right at the begining to! ..

Hi Pleasehelpmesave, Ok if you start CD very soon and stick to it 100% you could lose up to 1stone a month so you could lose nearly three stone before the wedding. However you could no way do 'proper' exercise, small toning workouts maybe but you arn't going to go running/gym session in your first month of CD. Thats a sure way to become ill and make thinks much worse.Ythe only other problem is you won't be able to decided on dresses etc until maybe the week before the wedding due to your weight fluctuations and your changing shape.
However it can be done if you are strict, you just have to want to and be able to sacrifice your food for a few months
Good luck :j0 -
thanks so much for the very speedy reply PAP!
Did i read right that you put i could lose 3 stone?? Realistially i'd be starting in March and the wedding is the 3rd April - so i was thinking i have a full month to lose weight - a stone would be great in that time! Any more would be better of course!
I'm having my clothes made in the next 2 weeks and can get them adjusted so thats not a problem.
I'm alraedy generally tired and run down - 3 kids and a job! - so will this make me even more groggy and miserable?????0 -

Hey Piratess, so if weekends are your struggle tr to overcome them. If I remember you have some children, get them out on a walk or take them swimming. Yes you may need to take a picnic etc but you can just have a tetra. If OH isnt helping ask him if he can keep his eating on one place, so kitchen and dining room only etc. Its one of my biggest problems here because I have to make my shakes in the kitchen but we have an unwritten rule in our house that goodies arn't left on show around my 'area', it works.
Yes water is the crux I think, subsituting your food is relitively easy but getting all your required water is hard. But you know how to do that, I guess its just getting on with it... but remember to space it outI am sure you can do it for May, I guess you won't do the whole 5st but you will be on your way. You arn't 'heafty' now, you are beautiful just carying a few extra lbs.
Good luck tomorrow and keep me updated on how you are going. Stay motivated and keep smiling :T0
