Good luck RVK2, I'm currently 7stone into a 10+ stone needed weight loss, so I know where you're coming from. Be strong and come for a good natter here any time
br33ni - sorry to hear you're feeling so ill, I'd definitely speak to the CD head office and your doctor to make sure that you do the right thing. Your health whilst trying to get better from an infection is far more important than losing weight. Hugs.
Well - I did it, managed to get by on ibuprofenI even went down to Brighton this evening and met up with some lovely friends for a drink, I was a really cheap date as the pub didn't have sparkly water so I just had tap water all night. Phew!

Morning all, I should be getting ready for work but the lure of MSE is stronger, lol.
Another perkily happy day, another pound hits the dustAfter posting last night I got a very rumbly tummy and part of me wanted to eat, but then I looked at the clock, realised it was 11pm and that actually I should be in bed rather than eating, and so did the sensible thing, and feel better for it!
Going to work in the office today, I think I need human contact, it gets a bit lonely in the spare room! Got lots of stuff to do at lunchtime and then am going over to lovely friends tonight for 'dinner' i.e. I'll have a soup and lots of water and a good natter.
Hope everyone else has a spring in their step today x0 -
Morning all.
WEighed this morning and have lost 1lb:( Not great, but I have eaten a few times and been really poorly, plus I am out of ketosis so my fatloss is probably 2 or 3lb. Finally beginning to feel better, so no excuses now!!
Hope everyone else is okay?0 -

Skinty have you measured this week? maybe the inches are catching up with the pound loss? .. could be worth a check.

Ive got a day off today, have been to the shop. am dropping DD and her mate to swimming at 1 and then going to SIL for a cuppa before i go pick them up again .. so quiet day really .. a 1lb has dissapeared from the scales, Im kinda wondering id the bars slow weight loss atall ??
any ideas?Hoping to be a thinner me in 2010!0 -
Hi Piratess. I didn't measure at the start tbh, but my clothes do feel a bit looser so I think I might have lost inches.
I think some people do find that the bars slow weightloss, they are a lot higher in carbs than the shakes and soups.0 -
EEekkk thats what im worried about lol ... think i may save them and have as a sat night treat ...
I cannot risk them halting any losses or even bringing me out of K .. ya know i love this diet dearly BUT its rather scary somtimes lolHoping to be a thinner me in 2010!0 -
I'm occasionally being naughty and having 2 bars (currently using Te$co meal replacement ones) and am still losing fast, so I wouldn't necessarily think that bars = slowdown.
Things like time of the month, stress and just your body catching up with itself are all factors too.0 -
:rotfl:Hi guys been trying to log on all day but had problems with password and logging me in for some reason !!:)
Hope your all doing ok, PIRATEES - i have one bar a day, everyday and hasn't slowed me down but i know it depends on each person !! I was chatting to my CDC on Saturday and she said that one of her customers has all bars (i.e. 3 a day) and is still loosing weight...guess its trial and error, but i know how you feel, just want it gone asap
Not been too bad today, definately feel some days is easier than others for some reason, no idea why, but day 46 of sainthood...not a crumb, sip of diet coke or slither of food has passed my lips :T have surprised myself has taken me soooo long to get on thestraight and narrow! only 2 1/2 weeks until birthday night out so am keeping focused for then....hoping to shift 12ish lbs by then and be just in the '13's !!! will still have 3ish stone to go once i get to my birthday
Sad that it is, i just can't wait to go food shopping....i live on my own so haven't been to Tesco or ASDA for weeks :rotfl:0 -
Hey everyone,
I am struggling today with this cold. I really fancy a hot curry of chilli to blow it out but really want to stick to the diet! I would hate myself if I did cheat now. I have stayed 100% all the way through and feel I would just give up if I saw a blip on my chart. Well I have W.I tomorro and the doctors to sort everything out! so hopefully be feeling better tomorro.
I have just started using the bars this week and found them fairly tasty although cut them up and make it last allday as a treat. Only had three so far so hope they dont effect my loss, but I guess we will see.
Wish me luck for my W.I tomorro and I will let you all know how I am doing.
Stay strong everyone and have a great evening!0 -
