1347 (London) - GBP/USD looks in danger of extending its lurch lower towards 1.60 as participants speculate about what the BOE may say at the conclusion of its two-day meeting Thursday, says Lloyds Banking. "The consensus seems very much centred around the idea that an additional GBP25bn purchase of gilts will be announced, but nothing is ruled out at this stage and this is creating some confusion of how to trade the decision from a currency or rate perspective," it adds. GBP/USD trades at 1.6065.
