Good job we got $300 the day before we left in January - just in case flight cancelled again!!. Those $1,63 days seem far away.

Back in the USA in September.

I have 1.6 as a ceiling. Theres always a chance of anything happening.

Exchange rate is roughly about how much a country imports and exports so it includes all sorts.

Two things you can watch are the ten year government bond yield. America returns a lower rate of interest then us and so currency can follow the higher rate, this probably explains why sterling did well recently.

We have more inflation and in turn likely a higher interest rate as well as this already being true now

USA is 2.69% UK is closer to 4% I think

My money came through from the Crown no problems. Got almost 1.59 when I ordered, so I'm very happy.
