Guys, my first post on this thread....
I used to have a website in my favourites that showed you the advance purchase price for US Dollars, i.e you pay now and get x price 59 days in the future etc....
Upgraded PC and lost all favourites, can anyone point me in that direction please ?
Thanks.0 -

Ok - it will cost me $2 a time to withdraw, but I plan to use the cash for drinks etc and then my nationwide cc card for meals.
Thoughts?

Depends where you're going and what atm machine you use. If you use a free machine (such as Chase in Manhattan) then there are no other charges bar the 1% that nationwide are passing on from visa. Also, (well in NYC) the atm's at places like deli's and McD's only charge 99¢
might be worth researching where you're going and whether there are any free atms around0 -

Thanks for that. Off to Las vegas and will use the main bank ATM's which I believe charge like $2
Any ideas how much I can withdraw at a time with a Nationwide Flex Account (taking ito consideration I have enough funds).

i have to say, the fairfx card rate is very close to the wire rate, at $1.59.... the $2 charge to withdraw cash on the card is where they make the money, but if you're sensible and only make large withdrawals, at fee free machines, then it is really competitive...

i didnt know there was a 2$ fee for taking cash out or usinf fair fx card
how about using it as a debit card is there a charge there?0 -
I have to say with CCE and their forward rates the way cable is now it's hardly worth buying 31 days in advance. 15 days ago the rate was around 7 or 8 cents less.0
