Just burnt a playlist from iTunes onto CD for the car (2003, 03 plate) and it wont play, or recognise it, any ideas?

I know older CD players sometimes dont play copied/burnt CD's but I'd of thought a 2003 would be new enough, or do i need to copy it in a different format? Not sure what one it copied it in, I just used iTunes and 'copied playlist'

Thanks in advance

yer that's the problem. Youv'e got to set it to burn in official 'CD' format rather than whatever iTunes burns it in defult. Sorry I can't guide you better, I'm more of a Windows Media person myself. Someone will come along shortly and guide you better... macman perhaps?

You said "COPIED PLAYLIST" , well a playlist is basically a file with aload of links to files, so if you burnt the playlist it wont play anything. how big are the file/files on the disc, how long did it take to burn

yer you drag one/multiple at a time or go to the burn tab and open and select the tunes you want from your music folder . I would recommened using a CDRW as you can then rewrite the CD or add tunes to it without using another CD
