burnt CD wont play in car

As Marty J said, it sounds to me from the number of tracks that you've burnt an mp3 cd from itunes and your car player is a normal audio cd player (these tracks need to be in wav format). Pretty sure there is an option in intunes to burn a "normal" cd but you will be limited to approx 18 tracks depending on the length of the songs.0

How on earth is that a lot simpler?
Make a playlist in iTunes, click "burn disk", make sure "Audio CD" is selected, and then click burn.
Media Player.
Burn Tab>Drag & Drop (or select your playlist) >Burn Button.

As opposed to Make a playlist in WM player, click 'burn', make sure the "Audio CD" is selected and press burn BUT with perhaps a clearer UI?!?!?!?The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.

They appear to have had no trouble burning a CD.
But, it seems as though they have changed it from the default of "audio CD" to something else.
I assume if you tell Windows Media Player to burn an mp3, it'll burn an mp3 CD.
Or does it read minds now?0 -
So i went to Itunes and went to burn a playlist now it come up with three options . Audio Cd , MP3 CD & Data/DVD CD. To me thats confusing , because if your a new user to this then Audio CD & MP3 Cd are technically the same. Where as Media gives the user 2 clear cut options. Audio Or Data/DVD . To me this is alot easier for a user without the technical knowledge, Which at the end of the day these applications/programs are made for.Peter: Hey Lois... what's this word? Lois: Evil. Specifically, the Red Book specification stipulates that:...you will be limited to approx 18 tracks depending on the length of the songs- Maximum playing time is 74 minutes (including pauses)
- Minimum duration for a track is 4 seconds
- Maximum number of tracks is 99

You're really nit-picking now.
What if a user doesn't know what a "tab" is? How are they going to open the burn tab in WMP?
The words "Audio CD" mean the same thing in iTunes as they do in Windows Media Player. I have absolutely zero idea why anyone would think an audio CD and an mp3 CD "are technically the same".
Does WMP support AAC, which is iTunes' default importing format?0 -
Ok, so if they don't know what a tab is, But On WMP it clearly says Burn. where as on itunes (correct me if im wrong) you have to right-click on the playlist and then click burn playlist.
And why as a user would i need to worry about AAC. As what would you say about 90% of all todays music files are a .mp3 format , why would Itunes stand out from the crowd.
Don't get me wrong everyone has there own way of doing things , but i still think it simiplier to do it through Media Player then Itunes.Peter: Hey Lois... what's this word? Lois: Evil. There's a burn disk button in every playlist:

The OP imported their own music. If they did it with iTunes, there's a reasonable chance it's in AAC format.Don't get me wrong everyone has there own way of doing things , but i still think it simiplier to do it through Media Player then Itunes.
In both applications, you click a burn disk button to burn a disk. I'm really not seeing how there's any massive difference between the two.0
