Don't worry Toots - I was only letting my imagination run away with me.
And as to the food - do we need another ready steady cooky Soappie sess? Or shall I just advise?
My advice is simple stuff. With lots of fresh veg. The salmon in foil is easy peasy - just do it with some fresh green veg and a couple of boiled new potatoes. Even fried egg and bacon with mash and frozen peas is, actually, a nutritious meal
I think I did Soappie's lemon chicken at some point - that's easy peasy too - do it with salad and boiled new pots.
Failing that, just buy in a bulk order of pot noodles and boil the kettle :rotfl::rotfl:I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Do you know he recipie for the cheese pie you used to get at school. I am 38 so it is awhile ago. It wasn't quiche and it usually got served with tin tomatoes.
I have got a couple of recipies that could be the one i was just wondering if you knew being brilliant and all that xx:beer: Officially Debt Free Nov 2012 :beer:0 -

Are we talking cheese and potato pie here? I'm guessing we are so here goes...
Take a load of mashed potato.
Saute a chopped onion in butter for a few minutes and add it to the mashed potato
Grate in some cheese (has to be cheddar type not mouldy stilton type!) - probable proportions are about four fifths mash, 1 fifth cheese (I do it by sight!) add to the potato mix.
Lob in a greased oven dish - or a shortcrust pastry case - and shove in the oven on about gas mark 6/200 deg C for half an hour or so... until the top is nicely golden.
But I could be very wrong about the cheese pie you were served at school...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Toots - let me know when you're ready with the decorating and I do not need to stay - my SHUNT idea was about popping in for a cup of tea with people! Nothing more nothing less - no need for beds, no need for food (though a biscuit might go down well!), no need for stop overs and breakfast in the morning. Just a quick in and out - ooo er Mrs!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
