Hi Soappie - had a good break?

Lovely Valli. I didn't want to come back. Mind you, it might have been different if we'd had rain - but we had wall to wall sunshine apart from part of Saturday and part of Sunday. And when we were on the ferry going over last weekend, an almighty squall came up and we got drenched. As soon as we got to Cowes, the sun came out again! Somewhere on my camera I have a pic of a very soggy doggy on the boat deck! (dogs weren't allowed inside!)

Not as much achieved as I wanted but
    • went to Mr T and returned kettle bought last week as the water tastes awful and had to resort to boiling water in a saucepan for a cuppa. Pleased to report no quibbles and money back
    • Washing powder and dog food bought
    • Into town for new kettle and mooch round Wilkinsons
    • Paint and brushes bought  why oh why did I do that
    • DD and I painted half the back wall in the garden white. That was as far as we got as it clouded over
    • Threw DD in the bath as there was more paint on her than the wall
    • Had half hour kip on the sofa (well AF arrived and I have a bad head)
    • Kids emptied DW
    • I reloaded it with last night tea things  :rotfl:
    and thats about it.

Now I need to eat something JP me thinks, back later
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

    Yes it has!
They are obviously taking a leaf out of Flyladies books; having a list and finding that keeping shutting down and updating they are getting quicker and quicker - just like me!

ALL DONE QUILLION PLEASE MAY I BE AWARDED ONE DANCING BANANA?

dot-to-dotting last night in the dining room meant it just needed a clean and not a clear first:D:D

I also declutered stuff to the bin and the charity shop but I accidentally
bought 4 DVDs in there - Bourne Identity, 2 Will and Grace and Ocean's 12 at the bargain price of £2 each
