If you check out his previous posts via his profile, he seems to enjoy being sarcastic and trying to humiliate people.

Hadn't checked his previous posts but if they're as you describe then he's obviously quite jealous of a lot of people. Doesn't say much for him.

Maybe he's insecure and puts others down to feel better?

All you have to remember is opinions are like !!!!!holes: Everyone has one and every now and again they can get a bit $hitty lol

I know recently a lot of Op's haven't been following up threads with conclusions, This may be due to the fact they get shot down everytime the ask a genuine question, It certainly puts me off of posting threads.

Was just trying to work out if its expensive cars that you have a chip on your shoulder about, or you think that the world in general owes you something. Turns out its the latter.

Well luckily the world in general provides me with a very good living and I'm able to get by with minimum effort.;)

You will always struggle to get tyres on a saturday afternoon.

With the size your after, most places wont carry named brands in stock, and those that do will charge OTT.

Tyres for the Clio 182 were £130 each from Kwikfit (205/45/16), but prior planning and you could get them for just over £85 on a price match.

I then started to keep a spare wheel at home with a good tyre on it, as renault provided you with a can of tyre foam, with no spare wheel.

Check on eBay for a marked X5 wheel, and keep it in the garage with a budget / nearly worn tyre for these circumstances.
