Stock is going to be the most important factor on this one. Get the Yellow Pages out and do some ringing around ;-)Best Regards,

Yep I agree. My local can't get one for me till Monday.
Still looking right now. No joy yet, but thank you for the replies.
Times like this I feel I should have bought something with less expensive parts. Cheers!Thrust Moonstone At Your Service

I actually said I wanted to get this sorted before Monday, ie: quick and cheap.
I didn't say I was going to run my X5 on cheap tyres. I mean't I wanted someone to sort me out today with a replacement tyre for a fair price.
I was quoted £241, which is fine, but its not going to be in stock till Monday.
I wouldn't mind if I had to pay more to get it done sooner IYSWIM. I can't tell if you are being helpful or not.
I am a newbie here. Got shot down in flames last night and now this.
Why do I bother. Thanks to everyone else for your help.
At least the person from last night was polite enough to rethink and say they had been a little tetchy. Some people do have manners.Thrust Moonstone At Your Service

It's sometimes difficult to understand when someones having a dig or when they're just having a laugh on the net so don't get too wound up. It's usually the second... Most are pretty good on MSE.
Now you've got your tire size just ring all those on google in your area - looking at your local garages and mobile fitters. Or if it comes to it you can buy it from one place and have another fit it...
Alternatively, hire a run around and get the new tire Monday if getting one today is going to cost loads more...0 -

A mate of mine has a 645i and had to wait a week until he had the money to change a tire so he could carry on driving it! :rotfl:0
