Lol, cheers HQ - I think it's going to be a frog. The Lady loves frogs...
  • I hope you will attend a naming ceremony when you get your frog!
Welcome to Kenko! Or is it Ken Coe?
I wouldn't be without pigsy - ok its a crap name but I'm useless atpicking names for things - I never remember, Mr HQ is lucky I remember his - usually when i want something!
Its made a real difference to my mortgage I've been overpaying since March when I first read aliasojo's post on this thread.
Even overpaying a few quid each month will make a difference to the interest, I'm desperately hoping to be mortgage free in five years time. If I can carry on next year like this I might be able to do it but I also need to take the family on a holiday will see how it goes!!!
  • Hello fellow pig farmers :) thought this is a fantastic idea and appeals to my daft sense of humour, wife thinks i`m crazy :)

The pig is a bit expensive due to the postage etc but will soon be filling up with the change i get and some i pick up around the school where i work, the kids have a habit of chucking 5p pieces at each other, i still call em "tanners" :) so all will be welcome.

Daughter saw the hedgehog and so wanted it for her coin collection, might have some competition at home :)

I used to keep my spare change in a tin or old coffee jar,and i still have a Halifax house money box i bought at an autumn fair ages ago,but after seeing the pig post just had to get one :)

BTW just though of a name for the pig i`ll call him "Napoleon" :)

    Bye for now regards Megatimbo

I've ordered a piggy bank from Pigsback, although for now it will be my debt free wannabe pig, after that it will be my mortgage pig :)

Say hello to Mavis the Mortgage Cow :

Just got her - our local Au Naturale is closing down so I rescued her in the closing down sale.

Not written the message to go on her yet but just about to. There we go!
