Well done!
That's good news h_q. I trust it will be going somewhere safe????
No...didn't get post in yesterday......have GOT to get it in today.
As for the banks......it has crossed my mind they might have had a wee voodoo doll or something. :rotfl:Herman - MP for all!0 -
Well...you know I was desperately hoping to make Mays overpayment up to £500 ...now desp. trying to make it up to £600 - guess where that lovely £100 is going. I really wish I'd got the fifth number - would of got £5000 - then of course I wuld have wished I'd got the thunderball!!!! I'm really happy to have won £100 though.
Good luck with the fence post. Can you not wrap some plastic of something around the plug to make it safe to use in the rain, Mr HQ has used one like that.0 -
My 2 year old has just been playing a game where he goes to the shop, hands over the cash, gets change and walks over to me to share his 'food'. The bit that made me feel good about all this was that he took his imaginary change every time and pretended to put it in 'Ima'.
This mortgage owl of ours has already become part of the family.
What an odd thing. But pretty fantastic too. And it's about half full already.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
Its amazing to think money that would have disappeared somewhere is going to pay of my mortgage quicker and I haven't missed it! Well done to GR little boy - he will have enough money for his house before he leaves school!!0

Well I got a refund cheque today - guess where its going! Makes my overpayment so far this month to a nice round £578, the £600 is within reach, I may have to empty pigsy!! So far he's been well fed and not emptied, I'm hoping theres about £25 in there but also hoping not to empty him until full and I'm not there yet. Have a sale going through on ebay, so hopefully that will be another £10 or £12, should be able to make my goal! Trouble with me is I change the goal posts!!! I'm only halfway through the month!0

Well, we've joined the club too! My pig is helping us pay off the interest free credit card for next years holiday. My 7 year old daughter was facinated with the idea and is saving too. She opened a building society account yesterday and put £20.00 from her piggy bank in. When I gave her 50p for sweets she went back to the building society to pay that in too. I was so proud of her! The whole piggy bank idea is fantastic. Thankyou!!!January budget

Welcome to our clan LJ.
Post is in h_q but we've ground to a halt because it's rained almost constantly since Sunday.
Newest episode in our 'what can go wrong, will go wrong' saga...............our shower literally blew up this evening.
I was joking earlier on, but I am actually beginning to wonder what's going on now. Someone definately seems to have it in for us at the moment.
I haven't annoyed any of you have I? :rotfl:Herman - MP for all!0 -
