I think its there......just very very very tiny!!!! It said 1 x 1 pixel when I clicked! I think there is a tiny dot up in the left hand corner!!!! I hope your piggy is big enought to take a couple of pound coins!!!!0

I just sol a book on amazon - it was only listed one day so a bit extra for the pig. I probably would have left it gathering dust if I wasn't looking for more ways of paying of a little bit more here and there!0

I've got loads of stuff to car boot, proceeds to Herman of course...but I can't face it tbh.
There's so much to clear out and clean up and label that it puts me off before I start. I do think it would be worthwhile though and I do need to chuck more money at our cc before the introductory period runs out, so I'll need to bite the bullet over the next few weeks.
You're doing well h_q.....keep at it.Herman - MP for all!0 -

Thanks Guinea - £12.60 last week so I am through the first £50. Think I might put it on an Asda card so that I will get my extra £6 come November (also less likely to raid card than bankie! Not as strong willed as I should be). Coffee jar has now given way to son's old silver teddy he had hen he was a baby/toddler - now almost 12 and would not be seen dead with it!. Still cute though.
Maybe I will set a target of £600 for xmas and, if reached, will target mortgage then...or overdraft...or credit card...
ho hum
PS At the risk of sounding really silly how do you add all the super little icons wherever you want. (Not very computer literate - explain with care)0 -
Katyk.....if you look near the top of the page when you are logged in, there is a thin bar which has the 'User CP' option. Click on this and it will take you to your control panel.
On the left, 4th option down, there is an 'Edit Options' button. Click on this and on the next page right at the bottom, there is a 'Miscellaneous Options' button. On the drop down menu, select 'Enhanced Interface', then click on save changes at the bottom of the page.
When you reply to a post, select the 'Go Advanced' option and all the smilies should be available for you to select, from the drop down menu beside the smiley face above the reply box.
If you want to add your own smilies, or other pictures then that's a whole different ball game which I wont go into at the moment since I am assuming it's just the site icons/smilies you wanted to know about?Herman - MP for all!0 -

Guess what - I found them:D
Thanks a million:T
I'll be a proper pain from now on - like a kid with a new toy:laugh: :rotfl:

PS Anyone reading the gardening slot where I just asked this same question again, please ignore me - forgot I had asked it here! Senior moments creeping in...0 -
Glad to see you're sorted katy, lol.
Well I'm going to bite the bullet and car boot tomorrow (unless I back out at the last minute). Don't know why I don't want to go really....I just don't.I wish I could pay someone else to car boot for me, lol. It would be well worth a flask of coffee and a sticky bun.
:rotfl:
I spent all day yesterday in the loft clearing out stuff to sell. It's mostly all toys/clothes/books/dvds & the odd household thing like a lamp or gardening stuff etc.
Don't expect I'll make a fortune but every little helps. Herman is looking at me expectantly. (It's weird but I could swear his expression alters very slightly from time to time to suit the situation  )Herman - MP for all!0 -
I did a car boot last year, turned up late as MR HQ didn't set the alarm, nearly backed out of going but had loaded the car up the previous night, dragged kids with me, so that if I needed the loo or just to walk around I could. Didn't go anywhere as was quite busy, got quite a good spot as I'd turned up after the rush and made £70, never bought anything as I didn't look around the stalls! The kids saw some of our stuff on other tables but I didn't care as I'd got what i wanted for it and I wasn't taking it home again!
I'd been before and gone early to set up but you get all the other people who do it for a living and hijack your stall straight away, because I was late they were stuck at their stalls and I unpacked in peace!0 -
Hiya a
Good luck with the car booting tomorrow morning, let us know how you get on. You are motivating me to sort my stuff out....but first I need to concentrate on my essay
