No Truffle's tail is quite intact, is Pork Chop about 28 too? Could be twins here!;) Or are there more lurking about?

Pork Chop is a bit younger i think, I bought him 20 years ago, however he could have been waiting a long time for me to save up for him! I would go with younger brother to Truffle! Wow we have extended family!

We have one of those large plastic bottles of coke where we've put our coppers and 5p's in every week, we've not once counted up but we have collected some money bags ready. It our "disneyland" funds for our youngest, he decided on what the money was going to be used for.

Unfortunatly we have an elder kid who tried on numerous accounts to infiltrate the bottle, it was easy to spot with all the coppers lying all over the floor one day >< so its now in hiding lol.

I love the idea but it wouldn't be safe leaving any money lying lose in our house now :(

    Hi aliasojo

Congratulations!!! :j I definately think its worth suffering for the month to be mortgage free.

mmm  I think you might have started something else now ;) a bit radical but if we ate beans for the next 2 or 3 of years we could be mortgage free AND slim. Might be a step too far for DH :D
  • I've got £750 in savings that was going to be used for something else but thats not happening now, so will transfer it next week to mortgage!

  • Woolworths have their paint your own piggy banks on offer at the moment (£3.49). It comes complete with paitnbrush and pots of paint. Great fun to do and makes it very personalised. You could even paint on one of your reasons for saving on it.
Now debtfree except for the mortgage!
